Hell ya man! I play more 2D fighters than 3D fighters, but I just love BR.
I recently got my hands on the Japanese version of Primal Fury on the Cube, Extreme. It is good stuff.
Why would you bump this? Seriously.
I dread to think what a tournament stream would look like and half the dudes playing are in their furry costumes.
So long as it plays NOTHING like BR4.
While I like the super combos of 2 and 3, The first BR had a better focus on fighting and did better risk and reward with their beast mode.
Also, Beast Rave was more or less BR’s answer to V-ism and we all love V-ism.
Tighten the controls, moves, blocking, etc etc and it could be EVO worthy.
I like me some kusoge games so it’d be cool to see this come back. Not as cool as Killer Instinct coming back, but this was a favorite of mine to fuck around in. Played all of them except for 4 and saw Beastorizer (the arcade of the original) at an arcade one time. I’m sure it would have been a nightmare to play competitively, but the controls were tight and it had it uniquely collected the speed of a 2d fighting game with the movement of a 3d fighter (which KOF Maximum Impact seemed to borrow from later). To me it was like a cracked out Fighting Vipers. Just fun to play and do combos in. Always loved Long, he was my fav. Bakuryu, Yugo, Uriko and Busuzima were fun also.
If this becomes a real thing, it’ll actually make me care about the PS4 a little bit more outside of the console itself. Only play fighting games and shmups, so yeah.

I only played BR2 and I think a bit of BR1, but I enjoyed it very much. Would like to see it back.
It’d be a pleasant surprise if they make a new one but I’m not going to hold my breath for it, 2 things is a must if they do though:

After the failed abortion that was Bloody Roar 4, I say nay.
Every time he makes a thread asking for a new bloody roar thread the first post done by another user is always “No, It’s a shitty game”.

I love Bloody Roar, they should include guest characters from Tekken, probably Kazuya (Beast Form: Devil), Kuma and Roger.

If Bloody Roar was to come back it needs to stand on it’s own two feet not feature guest characters as a gimmick the way DOA5 did.
And that’s coming from someone who liked the idea of tossing VF characters into DOA.

I’d like guest characters in a Bloody Roar only to see in what they do transform.
For example, SNK characters: Nakoruru turning into a wereeagle, Ramon into a weretiger, and Terry in a werewolf. Would kick ass.
