just gonna throw this out there again. if anyone can bring setups the likelihood of a tournament will be much greater. also IF there is a tournament I will seed the top 5 in the “Main Event” singles. there are some sweet prizes on the line for that so you’ll totally want to get in on this.

Grand Finals were rounds 3/5 with Best of 5. Chris (Ceramic) used Sagat, Ken, then Ryu.

wtf? How do you go from 3 out of 5 single game all the way up to grand finals, then make it 3 out of 5, best of 5?
Winners/Losers Finals were best of 3, where Grand Finals were best of 5. Seemed appropriate seeing as in any other tournament it would have been additional sets to determine the winner. Given the time constraint also allowing us to do such gave us the opportunity.
We only ran one match even though I was in winners and he was coming from losers. But I’m still happy placing second. It was a great first day event! Thanks HSP and to all the artists!
I wish we weren’t stretching it already for the Best of 5, Shawn, or else it would have been just that. We ended just when David needed us to end so I’m glad we at least got that.

I’m not implying that I was upset at the tournament finals, more so just pointing out it wasn’t the normal kind of double elim tournament.
For sure, I know you weren’t. I know it was our run of the mill double-elim, we normally wouldn’t do 3/5 rounds either.
