Yeah that was annoying
Itās annoying and super stupid. Iāve died more in this section then any other part of the entire game. 5 deaths in this room. No boss has even killed me 5 times.
Its like someone on the dev said āYou know what gamers hate? Under water sections with difficult controls. We should deffinitly put that in our game and make sure there is a section that requires precision movement and if they fuck it up they eat 145 points of damage per. That will be super fun.ā

I had no issues with the Under water area.
You just have to be mindful where you use that aqua spray, until you get the other shard in the desert.
It doesnāt stop the water navigation being clunky and a pain in the ass. Itās not fun at all.

Worst part of the water navigation was having to switch the shard off and on to be able to move faster. Once you have deep sinker, you can keep pressing jump to move around but holy shit is that slow.
Alright, got plat on this thing. thereās a bunch of dumb shit I havenāt done yet like get all the medals for defeating bosses without getting hit (although those are super easy in NG+, have a lot of them except for the two headed boss and train bossā¦was just rushing to get the plat trophy). Donāt have all shards at 9 Rank/ 9 Grade either.
Need to put this fucking game away though. Been playing it daily for multiple hours since I got it. Once you get accelerator + high jump, its just feels so good to move around killing stuff.
So Iām going to put away this unhealthy fascination with this game and call it a life for the next couple of months.

I think Accelerator, Augment Gold passive shard (Crafted from the Luck Shard)
At max rank the Augment Gold shard becomes a Skill shard rather than a passive shard.
Equipping the Augment Gold Passive Skill and turning on Augment Gold Skill Shard at the same time greatly enhances the effect!
Equip Gebelās Glasses and as many high Luck items as you can.

Once I got deep sinker, I just used reflector ray to get past those. Didnāt want to have to keep dealing with them on the way out.

These fucking bugs in the fire caves are total ass. Fuck enemies who float outalside your attack range while doing high speed zoom attacks from off screen. Total ass enemy making this area way dumber then it really should be.
Edit: In fact the game is sadly starting to enter that obnoxious phase where it feels like they are running out of ideas so they just throw annoying and obnoxious shit at you. Enemies who float out of reach but shoot projectiles, enemies whose projectiles go through the environment for massive damage and huge environmental hazards that deal huge damage and you can very easily be knocked into and eat double damage because Iga still doesnt know what the fuck invul frames are. 20 years later and you still get juggled to death, good grief.
Double Edit: Super cheap that Zangetsu can change direction in mid air. I read you correctly asshole why am I still getting punished?

I got hit by Zangetsu 2.0 so many times by his jump --> slash attack until I realized instead of trying to dodge away from it, I had to just slide under him. It completely changed the fight.
One thing I noticed against all of the humanoid bosses is that if you stand basically outside of sweep range(lol) you can still hit them with your swArd attacks, but their attacks will whiff until they decide to do something else. It worked on OD, the 2nd last boss, Zangetsu and the Blood Bish.

The one where he pulls himself up with the hook shot and does a dropping attackā¦yea he can turn around in mid air and hit you when you go under him.

Ended up getting an unexpected tip from a client yesterday that was just more than enough to snag this, so I did. Looking forward to getting started on this as it sounds fun as hell so far!
