There’s a large chunk of the CV community that won’t play and shits on anything that isn’t 2D. They’re usually the ones that don’t play anything but metroidvanias and basically parrot what other people have said about certain games without even trying them for themselves.

This is good, hopefully it’ll give the game a bit of a bump. They really did a great job with it.

I like the OST better than the one from the pirate ship. Seems like they added some fairy wings effects when she double jumps.
The platforming looks halfway interesting so thats something.

Love how they embraced the troll language on social media and made an official ‘poop vs. new’ comparison video just to shove it in.
Too bad the Switch version seems to be noticeably inferior, would have loved to play this in handheld mode in memory of the great GBA-to-DS Castlevania days.

And finally, it was recently revealed that certain retailers would be giving away a Bloodstained FuturePak steel case for preorders of the game while supplies lasted. I’m happy to announce that we will be selling 800 stand-alone FuturePak steel cases for $14.99 exclusively to backers.
These cases feature a glossy metal renditioning of Mana Ikeda’s fantastic box art for the game, and an internal hinge so when fully opened the case creates a flat surface to display the art. The cases hold game discs and Switch cartridges. We’ll be sure to announce exactly when these will go on sale, so stay tuned!

Full powered Zangetsu from CotM half fits anyways- would like to see it like a more fleshed out Richter mode.

I would say get Bloodstained first, support the little guys. Samurai Showdown is already profitable, it can wait a little. And if you preorder you get that cool steelcase above!
