I’m torn between DeS and DS1 in terms of locations, enemies, etc. DS2 can’t touch either IMO. If I could switch Blight Town with Valley of Defilement, and change most of the post Lord Vessel locations with levels like Tower of Latria and Shrine of Storms it would be a near perfect game.
Does anyone know where I can download a browser plug-in that blocks all discussion of which Souls game people prefer?
Da fuark? I thought it was the most focused of the three when it came to level-design and the most polished when it came to things like load times and framerate.
Demon’s for me had the hardest bosses. When it comes to DS1/2 bosses, you kind of knew what to expect coming from Demon’s. Bosses like Flamelurker, the Twin Maneaters that you had to fight on top of a narrow-ass bridge and Old King Allant are crazy memorable to me and their offense is relentless. I dunno, the only boss in Dark 1 that really fucked me up was Ornstein & Smough. Other than that, 95% of bosses in Dark 1 & 2 are easy as hell.
i ordered that solaire tee , LOL
Be sure to at least take it out of the bag.
I presume magic won’t be in this, if they’re going for the victorian theme?
As of right now, that seems to be the case, we haven’t seen any magic in any of the gameplay videos, or alpha builds.
Scrubs gonna be in trouble.
Yeah I definitely wanna see
1 Magic
2 how leveling and stats work
3 how equipment works. are any of the crafting or boss soul elements returning / evolving in here
basically anything related to the rpg system as a whole.
Gonna be a preview event for Bloodborne in the place where we usually have our casuals and tournaments (Imperium) on Wednesday. Gonna try to see if I can score an invite.
The speculation is that it’s set in the same universe as Demons Souls and in the ending of that game you put the Old One back to sleep effectively erasing magic from the world. From a story stand point this would make sense since people would try to compensate with science.
I hope there are fist weapons, real men fist each other, they don’t use these sword-whip-hammer-axe things
Re: Magic
The talk going around is that there will be no magic in Bloodborne - at least as far as we know. Could be that something’s unlocked later on. From what’s known/guessed now, instead of magic, you’ll be using various gadgets and such.

Bloodborne taking place after lulling The Old One back to sleep in Demon’s Souls would honestly be sick as fuck, and I wouldn’t mind gadgetry replacing magic entirely if that was the case.
I played the game at a preview event last night, it is everything I had hoped for.
Tell us MOOOOOORE!!!
Does it show the character Creator? If not, then I’m not watchin it. Thanks for postin tho!
