PvE you can pretty much run whatever build you want, but 20 vit will just get you one or two shot in PvP. RIP.
Finaaallly beat undead giant. That strong spinning attack where the chainballs hit has so much range and one shotted me a couple times. I got lucky one time and he didn’t use it and I finished him off with throwing knives.
patch dropped earlier tonight for the Oath, more NPC summons, and a new chalice creation feature called “shared fixed dungeon” that I have no idea what could mean

also, NEW HUNTER TOOL THAT SCALES WITH BLOOD, NOT ARCANE
Damn I just realized the dlc drops next week. I’ll be out of town from Tuesday to Saturday.
“If you kill Valtr, a hunter in the Forbidden Woods (next to the first lamp) will spawn near the lamp and drop a new Hunter’s Tool. Madara’s Whistle. Summons a giant snake head under you and damage anything around you. Also does damage to you. It is a Bloodtinge spell and requires 18 BT.”

if you read further, it’s been found that you don’t need to kill him. Just co-op with his oath rune, consume the item you get, talk to him, then exit and reload the forest and that NPC will be there
I assume it’ll be the same spell as the one the Shadows of Yharnam use in that battle.
Kind of, there’s footage of it already and what it does is summon a huge snake head right beneath you that bites right where you summoned it. It can actually damage yourself too, but it takes a moment to activate so you can get out of it’s range in time. Probably good if you can set it up well
Finally got that asshole Abhorrent Beast. Not Mich help from the Old Hunter I summoned but at least I got to see one of the new weapons in action.
Killed another Abhorrent Beast and the Loran version of Paarl. Found an amazing farming spot where I can get 88k blood echoes in about 1-2 minutes.
Patch 1.07 is something like 10 GBs? Damn son!
I killed the One Reborn on the first try. I didn’t even know I was supposed to kill the chime maidens. I just wailed on him using that cane R2 gave him all kinds of anal prolapse action, then he died. Having 20 VIT, saved my ass a lot. I thought he was healing because I kept seeing those orbs flying to him so my strategy was to damage him faster than he could heal.
And one of the students in the lecture hall 2F actually gave me a Blood Chunk!!! I think that’s a super rarity.
Eventually echoes become pretty useless. Have 3 characters and neither need echoes aside from occasional restock on vials/bullets, which is like 20 at a time. Lol
The new attack effects on Chikage are dope as fuck. Glad they added them. Makes a cool weapon even cooler.
The new hunter tool is pretty cool. At 50 BT it does 900 damage to enemies. Not sure how useful it will be overall, but it can hit you as well for a lot of damage. Unsure if you can grief people in co-op with it, but it’d be pretty hilarious if you could.
That might be new in the patch
Chikage has a new attack? I thought it was just the pretty blood splatter everywhere.
No, he said “new attack effects” as in the effects of its attacks in general
