It’s a good purchase. I honestly never thought I’d love playing an FPS this much again, and this shit had me hooked. Junkrat, Tracer and Lucio were just too damn fun.
This is one of those games that can make you love a genre you’d normally hate.
Got my pre-order in today, going to have to wait for shipping but not going to be in the next couple of days anyway so it’s whatever PSN is Istillduno although time zones may make me a rare spawn being in the UK and all.

PC is the only way I’ll ever play any game like this. Mouse and keyboard just feels right.
Interesting insight on the competitive hero picks at the moment. No surprise that McCree is a top tier pick for pros, but it is surprising that his pick rate is so high it shits on all the offense characters leaving a huge gap with no A tier characters. Lucio is no surprise because there are only 2 other supports to compete with and he is well rounded while giving huge team support. He also is tankier than he seems because of the healing aura, especially when he buffs it. Under the S tier are B tier which are Core heroes and under that are specialists for maps and counters.
Bottom least picked were Mei, Hanzo, and Roadhog. Hanzo doesn’t really get picked because the maps that are good for sniping, are really good for widowmaker, so teams will often countersnipe with widows. Mei doesn’t have a lot of burst dps and mobility so people choose other characters, though her utility may go up when things develop a bit since ice wall is unique (maybe not though since mobility is huge). Roadhog being a damage sponge is bad since it can be an ult battery and him being a cqc hero with no mobility hurts his place on teams. Though they do say he is still a solo pub stomper because he is great at being a lonewolf.
I would like Hanzo to get a slight buff to his charge shot damage. He does have a teamfight ult and scattershot going for him, but I think making his bow charges do more damage will help him in his role of picking off heroes, especially since Widowmaker can do oneshots against tracer and zen, while getting 100% charge at a fast rate.
Time to download this game and see what the big deal is.
