While reading the chapter I felt good you know, finally SS getting fucked up. Juha showing that he aint no push over. I was typing up this post which was completely different before that last panel. I was impressed that Juha has/had established him self moving into that realm of unfuckwitable but then just as I grinned when he grabbed ichigo and put the blade in or thru his neck.
I was in a lil shock like ok Juha I see your work fam. He tells Ichigo to stop all that yelling folds him up and tells his boy ok lets just take him back to HQ–

I already saw Ichigo inside himself like wtf happened? how did I get wrapped up? I couldnt protect anybody? but nope such a awesome chapter negated by the last panel.

Isn’t the quincy tech something that you can learn?
I have the impression that you don’t need to have quincy heritage in order to become a quincy, after all, what they are is people with spiritual awareness that manipulate the spirit particles in order to do their tech and to make the tech easy, they use relic to channel said spirit particles.
Saying that, i can see Ichigo having the advantage in that he could potentially use Blut and attack at the same.

Just because she’s a Quincy doesn’t mean she’s particularly strong. Plus, she was attacked while trying to protect baby Ichigo. We don’t know what happened. Maybe she had to sacrifice herself so Ichigo survives, or was lured to her death by the Grand Fisher making a fake Isshin/Ichigo. It’s been awhile, but wasn’t the Grand Fisher particularly dangerous? Then again, this was early in the series, where every hollow was considered tough to defeat.
I simply laughed at this 2 min chapter. It started off just as planned with that “when in doubt, Getsuga Tenshou” shit. But Juha wasn’t havin that shit. Then this blut shit comes out and I completely thought “great. waste of another potential hype chapter.”
meanwhile those theories of Ichigo’s mom being a quincy shows up again. This guy really should be mini god at this point.
