With the pace the anime is going right now, I think it’s safe to say that they’re just going to straight up finish The Lost Substitute arc with no filler missions or new enemy popping up out of nowhere. Sure there may be a few filler scenes here and there to flesh out the story even more (which they’re doing a great job handling so far) but that’s pretty much it. Once they get to Ichigo getting back his Shinigami powers from Rukia and co. job the hell out of Xcution, then they’re going straight to a super long ass filler with Ichigo having both Shinigami and Fullbringer powers.
This is just my theory though and I could be wrong but this is what it looks like right now, given the current pace of the anime.
No bankai was ever revealed, apparently. Also, he’s just stupidly strong as it was. He could have probably destroyed Kenpachi’s sword with a dozen roses if he wanted to.
I love kubo’s art style and i stare at the manga for hours, studying his line quality…but dear god i fucking hate the way it looks animated. I think the show looks like pure shit
It depends how it’s animated though IMO. Just watch the 3rd and 4th movies, they were able to animate Kubo’s newly refined artstyle beautifully and fluidly. But you can’t deny that the regular anime’s animation quality leaves something to desire though.
And I wouldn’t mind seeing Kubo become like Akira Toriyama and Kosuke Fujishima where they contributed their artstyles in video games such as Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, Tales of games.
Lol I just started watching the series. Just finished the first arc (I think), where Ichigo saves Rukia from execution. Reading this thread makes me dissapoint.
Where in the anime does the story pick up again after Ichigo vs Aizen? I don’t like watching the fillers, not unless somebody can recommend me some funny ones (Karakura-Rizer, etc.). Or, is it still doing fillers?
