Kira had some development going. But he got ignored like 99% of the damn cast. At least he showed some promise with his shikai and possible bankai. At least he can hold is own.
I’m just not seeing the shonen trope here for Hinamori’s useless ass for being alive. The Aizen angle isn’t enough to keep her around considering the complete abuse and basically death encounters she’s had. Hinamori can’t even hold her own in what she specializes in aka Kido.
Neither deserves to live, hence why I couldn’t give a shit. Kira had no development going, let’s be real. All he had was a neat ability that we were never going to see properly used anyway.
As far as I’m concerned, every non-main character can die in Bleach.

Is the Bleach mango still going on, as the anime is finished? I’m kinda lost, and if the story continues after the anime then obviously i need to start keeping up.
Yeah, the manga’s still going. The Anime is cancelled because ratings were sagging and I would assume they were tired of throwing long ass filler in at random spots. They’ll likely just Inuyasha Final Act the Anime once the Manga is done.

Yeah the bleach anime has quite a bit of filler, int he middle of actual good episodes too, but I’m a completest so I have to watch them all. I’m on 297.
Bleach is very hit or miss, imo. For every very awesome plot point or reveal there is an equally stupid story line.
Zanpakatou arc filler was really good. I suggest even manga only readers to watch that one.
