The thing is it doesnt matter if komamura jobs or not because hes so royal and graceful and badass that hes still a G even if he gets OTKed. Renji and the other jobbers job like bitches and whine and brag about how strong they are now. Komamura just STFUs and goes to the lab to work on his combos without crying for a patch. He could get one shotted next chapter and it wouldnt hurt his swag one bit

Komu being boss
It’s definitely interesting how Komamura got his powerup. It explains his backstory a little more and gives him something more than an increase in reitsu/strength/speed.
But he’ll still lose in this battle somehow. At best, another Quincy will step in to help finish him off. If that’s the case, I’d say he moved a (small) step up from jobber status.
There are millions of ways to do that without having the user reveal everything to their opponent. For example:
- Throw in an explanation somewhere on the page, separate from the dialogue
- Have the user think it to themselves
- Let the opponent figure it out and have the user confirm it
- Have a bystander explain it outside of the opponent’s earshot(either to himself or another bystander)
- Wait until the fight is over, then reveal all the secrets
There is no reason why the characters should reveal all of their abilities to their opponent every time they fight. That’s irresponsible, impractical, and not to mention stupid.
Yeah, revealing all that to the opponent is called The Shinji.
People complain that characters explain their intents to inform the readers. People call hax when they pull it outta their asses when they need that shit. Pick 1.

it’s a shoen manga for kids #2 isn’t gonna happen. its near the end, all powerws are going to be explained and then there’s going to be a big fight. #4 i don’t want another piccolo in this manga, seriously, all Piccolo served in DBZ was to explain the obvious, and that made him a very gay boring characters.
#5 not gonna happen, since they are all fighting and last arc, so it would force Kubo to think about it a bit more. that is defenitly not gonna happen.
See, on the whole power explanation thing… the way Byakuya did it was the real deal… AFTER Renji was in a crumpled heap on the ground, then he calmly walked over and explained, with that badass monologue-- “…a thousand blades rise from the ground…with their scattering, infinitely more blades then arise…impossible to know their numbers…impossible to even read their path…much less avoid them…” haha, that was the shit, man…one of my favorite moments in the series. I liked it so much I have the audio recorded as an mp3. "It’s like the story of the monkey, trying to capture the moon… no matter how he struggles…it’s just the moon’s reflection on the water he sees…so he only sinks into the water. Time after time, the monkey sinks." Ohhh those were the good ol’ days in this show. Renji couldn’t do anything but lay there, barely alive and accept that shit.
I’m looking forward to this little broad Bambi getting her shit pushed in…there’s something I don’t like about this one, and I eagerly await seeing her get shut down hard.
