Hisagi should have bankai already and he should have been the captain already. After the Aizen incident Flame CC should have filled the holes right then. No squad should ever be w/o a captain no matter what.

Aside from Kira, Hisagi seems the next probable choice for leveling up and being a Captain. Both seem to be a good overall balance as well as level headed.

Sorry, but that chapter was godlike. The way Ichi summoned that Asuchi was uullllll. Hitsugaya decides to stop being a scrub relying on X-Fatcor and get some skills. Kensei dropping bars. The Big Dawg? HYPE!
