I always wondered why Kenpachi held himself back with the eye patch bells etc but i was happy with he did that shit to enjoy the fight more but this shit!!!

… is the first one. He not only has a sword, but its huge compared to him - on some Cloud/Zidane/Bi-Sexual Square lead character kind of way. So he either stole it from someone - so its not even HIS sword - hence why it won’t respond to him, or it just might be some regualr ass shit.

Seeing Kubo has been holding out about obvious shit in the pass, i’m gonna let the sword thing slide as I assume it’s coming up. I think there is a reason this shit’s happening while Renjigo are at the Zanpakto dude’s place right now. Give it time. (at least I will before I do the obvious Kubo talk.)
So basically Unohana and Kenpachi were badasses then join the Gotei 13 and become soft ass sandbaggin killers. At least we know Kenpachi pretty much sandbagged Juha regardless if it was the fake or real one.
Kinda a “ok” chapter this week. Funny seeing Yungpachi considering how off the wall the aging is in the anime. But I expect some sword talk within the coming chapters.
