Basically, Ichigo and Renji couldn’t tell the different between the reiatsu of the Zanpakutou and that of a shinigami, which is why they didn’t realise what was going on. The reiatsu of a zanpakutou is almost identical to that of its owner.
as to why Nimaiya has a ton of busty female Zanpakutou spirits just roaming about…we’ll see in two weeks. Remember that a Zanpakutou spirit is almost always the same gender as its owner, too.
Shunsui Kyoraku seems to be always the exception…

To back pedal a lil bit… When Juha at attack Ichigo we noticed those faint lines show on his neck. Now, when Renji attacked As Nodt we see the lines show up on his hand. It’s such a coincidence that when Renji was about to use his banki, the luchador sternritter knocks him out by suprise. Is it possible that renji is part quincy also?

you know its very rare that I (and anyone else for that matter) actually looking forward to Bleach, Naruto and One Piece in the same time. Alot of shiet is going down in all three of them, with naruto being the weakest at the mo.
Shame Titty Kubo or whatever his name is cant write more than a few words each chapter, so in real time the whole story has moved like 2mins in each chapter.
But whatever, heres looking forward to more Zanpakt-Ho’s in the future!
