That arc is the main reason I’m tired of bleach and the terrible fillers in the anime. I want bleach to hurry up and finish, I’ve not found it gripping since the Ichigo vs Ulquiorra rumble

Theoretically, he should have been captain-class to be the Captain Commander’s direct second. For him to get handled isn’t really indicative of their strength since there are five or six of them vs one of him, and even broken-ass Kenpachi can only ever fight one on one.
Ichigo broke that poor dude’s heart. lol.
I can only guess that the Anime is going on hiatus while Kubo writes the final arc. If they were going to outright cancel the anime there would be a more concrete statement about it you would think. Rather than have to do small parts of the final arc and then shove a shitload of filler in to make it work, my guess is everyone involved wants Bleach to have a proper sendoff. Assuming the manga stays strong, I’m guessing they will let Kubo get a few years (or more, who knows how long this dude will make this arc go), into the final story before they launch “Bleach: The Thousand Year Blood War” anime series. That way they can just go forward and animate the whole deal without splicing in random bouts of filler.
I would guess that this plan has been in motion for quite some time, just given how insanely fast the Fullbring Arc was done in the Anime. This will save the production studios a ton of money and let Kubo work at the pace he wants to (note: that’s probably not the pace WE want him to work at, but oh well).
If the anime really gets shitcanned without showing the final arc that will be incredibly sad, and I just don’t see them missing out on bringing Bleach back in a few years with a huge fanfare of running the final arc with no filler and no bullshit.
Then again I’m breaking the #1 rule in discussing Bleach, in that I’m thinking what the logical move is. Not the “Just as Planned” move.
Guess we will have to wait and see.
the anime better NOT end without completing all of the manga arcs. it better not. i hate when animes don’t finish up the manga stories.
like inuyasha and ranma and saint seiya. then everyone has to wait 5-10 years when some of the voice actors aren’t available anymore. i hate that.
i need this bleach anime complete. i’m an anime watcher not a manga reader. thats just me.
also, we all know kubo will wait 2-3 years then whip out Bleach Z. who are we kiddin if we assume the end of bleach…is truly the end of bleach.
