But I will admit, at that time, I was playing catchup with the anime SS arc which was godly to begin with. But after this chapter of garbage, I don’t expect the next few months to be anything but more drawn out nothingness and Aizen sandbagging SS/KK because he can.:tdown:

The chapter was a big let-down. Kisuke coming in with the clutch-ass shikai skills should’ve known shikai wouldn’t do the trick and Isshin as well as Yoruichi showing not even that much is too disappointing. I chalk all this up to the power of those captain-level fighters’ bankai being so SuperJesus that it’ll annihilate the people who’re sleeping next to the FKT (that or Kudo’s stalling once again lol). Honestly, everyone’s bankai that hasn’t been shown yet must be too insane to be used there (especially CC’s) and they know the consequences.
Team Urahara was clearly sandbagging in winners finals so they could figure out how aizen played, Plus coming back from losers to win is much more epic. That second set is going to be a bitch though.

The worst thing was the Espada. What a waste of a faction of Arrancar-Hollows. 10 of them, and they manged to kill no one, especially Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Yammy, Halibel, Barragan and Stark. They made the most likable villains totally fucking useless.
Why do people have any expectation of ever seeing Yammy again? The captains in Hueco Mundo made it clear the he was a push-over and pretty much told Ichigo “gtfo, we got this”.
He’s done. Yammy was always trash anyway.
