So I went back and started re-reading the series…it is WAY off where it started…not just artistically, but emotionally…the characters act the sameway, but the vibe they are giving off just isn’t as in synch.

Oh yeah, I found something interesting. In the chapters with Grand Fisher, at one point Ichigo is talking to Iishin and Iishin mentions its been ‘ten years already’ and Ichigo corrects him…and Iishin gives off this weird look/pause. I guess its sorta the first ‘sign’ of him coming from a different ‘place’ where time is ‘different’.

So I’ve read up from the begining to the save rukia arc so far, I can’t front - Kubo is a better writer tan we give him credit for, I just think he dropped hte ball completely on the Diecide ‘arc’. His artwork on those designer clothing pictures are just RIDICULOUSLY nice too. I wonder how much he charges for side work…
