SVGL is nice. New Blazblue cabinet. New Tekken 6 cabinet that doesn’t charge $1.50 per game. Seats for every machine (except ddr). These weird cards with barcodes on both sides so that you never know what side to slide. It’s awesome.
Arukane is nuts. I just tried to land a D and then I’d let bugs fly. I need to actually try controlling them sometime.
Agreed. My friends and I made the two hour drive to SVGL recently and it was well worth it. It’s been a while since I went to SVGL and I forgot how much I like the place.
The T6 and BB machines were too nice.

Nope. Friends and I were there on Saturday from about 10pm to close.
Also if I’m not mistaken it was .50 for BlazBlue. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
i went to SVGL on sunday 2-5.30 i think. first hour i randomly mashed buttons and read move lists. after that it was more strategic mashing.
the t6 and blazblue cabs are vewlix cabs, and yes they have HD screens and sanwa parts. i wish ucla had those kinda cabs instead of putting sf4 in a “normal” cab. then again thats probably someone’s scholarship money that they DIDNT get so maybe its a good thing they dont spend too much on the arcade.
its 50c per play, which is fucking awesome. instead of coin slots they have cards with barcodes on both sides so no matter how you swipe the card you cant fuck up. unless of course you swipe it on the short side but if you do that pressing buttons and moving a joystick is probably too complicated for you anyways 
got a win streak with jin…somehow. got another winstreak with taokaka by making liberal use of the A button and her “torpdeo” move. not bad for day 1. i think i found my main, lol.
Domino and I were there Sunday from 2-5:30. I was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, and I used Arukane for most of the day.
