Mod suggestion: Ban the words “when”, “console”, “PS3”, “360” and “buy” in this thread until the console port is announced Christmas 2010. Until then, maybe we can discuss the arcade version that this thread is about.
Does this DLC expansion stuff even happen? I mean every sequel thread that comes out it’s always “It better be fucking DLC or rage blahh,” but I can’t recall ever seeing this actually happen, the next version of a game coming out as DLC.

I loved BB:CT so much Id be fine with a 60$ price tag.
But I hope they do what they did with AC+ for US where it just has a 30 or 40$ price tag.
You know what makes me happy though? That it’s getting updated ot Arcade too. Not that I play arcades, but if it gets on arcade, then all the whiny arcade players won’t bitch about how ‘console’ characters/tactics should be ignored, play it on original mode etc.
Why the hell does Tsubaki look like Elena from Grandia 2 gone retarded? What were they thinking? Griping about Tsubaki’s design aside, I can’t wait for this. I personally love BB, even with the balance issues. If Carl is designed so that he’s playable w/o the infinite loop, then it’ll all be good.

It’s because people (i.e. most of SRK) are stupid. Game won’t be out until next year, and we’ll probably see it hit consoles late 2010 at the earliest. Apparently people can’t afford to buy a game that isn’t even going to be available on console over a year from now. Brilliant!

I especially like hearing about engine changes, since those flaws in BB tend to get lost in all the talk about the top 3. Hoping for less dumb option selects and masher-friendly shit on defense, better alpha counters/dead angles, and better throws. Oh yeah, and I like penalizing bursts but not that hard.
I noticed as of late that the Blazblue IRC channel has been talking about MMOs all day instead of, you know, Blazblue. And the game gets no turnout on the east coast at least (tournies often get canceled), and a lot of the top players in the US outright hate the game. So this announcement was definitely good timing…
Too bad it won’t come out in time to save BB at Evo next year. At least Spirit Juice will make it fun for the internet. =)

to the people asking to be a DLC content… lol, are you serious, its more than probable that it would be a different full paid game like the sports games, yes im into a DLC between 20 to 30$, but lets face it, all the games work like this, NFL, Pro Evolution Fifa, Left for Dead, Gears of War, and the list goes and goes, this game its not gonna be different
Honestly, if people are really worried about spending another $60 for BB+, remember you can always sell your old BB copies, saving about $30 towards BB+. :smokin:
Anyways, I’m looking forward to loketest vids, I wanna see what engine changes were added. Gonna go with my plan when BB vids first came up: making sure I don’t learn how each character plays. It makes training mode all that better

However, as a long time nintendo fanboy and Pokemon player, I’m used to paying for upgrades by now and have become a bit desensitised to it.
For me it’s like “omg new moves? fuck yeah.”
Seriously what’s the point in talking about how if this is not DLC it’s BS. Fact is this is a brand new game with new characters, new tweaks, stages, and some overhauls of the current system. It warrants being considered a sequel and thus being a separate purchase altogether. A DLC for this would be too much and completely alter the original game which is completely stupid.
Since when did the new generation become so spoiled to DLC’s and forgot the concept that sequels do exist for fighting games and are beyond a simple DLC to change how the game look and feel.
I’m pretty pumped for the weekend to here about the changes to the game system as well as the character tweaks. Seriously hope Jin didn’t get nerfed but I’m 90% sure that he will be due to the amount of attention he gets.
