Oh, my bad. I haven’t seen anyone bitch about it yet so I thought I’d be the first to do it. No I’m kidding, but I wasn’t bitching about it. I was just saying, $60 wouldn’t be worth it to me but I’ll still buy it eventually and enjoy the game. I just wouldn’t be as excited for it as I was for Calamity Trigger. There won’t be much new things to expect in Continuum Shift and the first BlazBlue will become obsolete just like older Guilty Gear titles.
I didn’t say I liked the story, I said I liked “Story Mode” as in the way they made it visually; how it was anime-like and gave you choices. I liked it a lot better than any Guilty Gear’s story mode.
No, but I’m guessing it would be $60 just because they kept doing that to Guilty Gear. If it does end up being $40 then great. I can use the other $20 to buy pizza or something while enjoying Hazama and Tsubaki (and not getting raped by V-13).
Microsoft has been cracking down on modded 360’s like crazy now. My friend just got his console banned for trying to play Borderlands. They’ll easily catch you if you play any of the newer games like from Halo: ODST and up.
Also, I am not sure what to think… Was BB a half-ass job or not? Gameplay wise, it was a half-ass job… but the console release had a bunch of neat extras to keep the game entertaining, or something like that. Plus, the graphics and sprites were pretty(As well as the music, I guess).
Gameplay-wise, they tried to make it not the same as GG, and had some really cool ideas, but they just ended up being too good. For a first iteration of the game, it was really fun, but once it got fleshed out, gameplay just took a turn for the worst, sadly.
A shitty community is a shitty community; a good game isn’t going to make a shitty community any better. Your local community might be shit, but the BB community is still pretty strong, even if there’s a lot of online players that think they know how to play the game but don’t.
