Chibi, my theory is that right now they’re just nerfing everything that was “good” in BB1 and then going from there. Next loketest is next weekend, so maybe we’ll see some more buffs.

I personally liked HOS, I doubt Tsubaki is going to be a total rip off. HOS was a very intellectual char, I assume BB’s incarnate will be the same.

Even if its ground only, it removes his best BnB on Mid/large size chars which involves 5C, JB,JC,JD, run up and 5C, JB,JC, 214B or C. not to mention if its a all around nerf, there goes his standard air combo.
So let’s try to look at these changes with the new system in mind. There’s no penalty for bursting now, which effects everyone evenly I suppose. Does anyone know if Gold bursts (the guard-breaking kind) are still the same? because if there’s no penalty for that now, I can see it being a lot more useful!

If it’s the same then it’s lame. At least they managed to mingle things together with each character’s mechanics so it wasn’t just a copy and paste deal with a new coat of paint, but thus far this character (whatever the fuck her name is, shit if I ever even went near story mode) sounds to be using the same shit. If she’s got something new, awesome, if not, lame and coulda way better.

hehe sorry to say chibi but id say chillax, cause no matter what nu really needed the nerf bat to the face but she didn’t get as pummeled as rachel did. i have to say im glad they fixed her and rachel because simply put tager just couldn’t reach them without super risk. though its not all about tager(or maybe it is he got super buffed which i think all those he deserved).
to be quite honest almost all the things i was hoping for happened for each character, cept for more life drain with ragna and tao being slowed down but hey 90% of guess correction is beyond good enough right?
imho, jin and noel deserved their nerfs because while they may have not been broke or imbalanced all their previous stuff made them stupid easy to be good with, and then hordes of people claiming they are good with them when all thats seen is mega easy stuff with them, now imho all characters gotta think when you play still cept for tao now. this is all just imho though take as u will and carry on people.

As a Tager player I even feel the nerfs to Nu were a bit much. But then again I loved the challenge of going up against a good Nu.

Noel got mad nerfed in this version, but I’m not worried cause it means she’ll prolly get more buffed in the next version. How it is in the loc test is not necessarily how its gonna be in the main game.
As said in the BB section thread about this, I’m not ready to freak out about a game I haven’t played yet.
