BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND announced!

Uh. We don’t know anything to judge on yet. Other than “Kagura is a charge character with stances” and “Terumi’s drive does something with heat”. z.z

Your answer lacks conviction. Both characters are low-tier, Japan agrees, I win the argument.

I just hope that Arcsys adds Ky from Guilty Gear into the game.

wut

Flagged.

The off-topic police are at it again.

Isn’t the “something with Heat” we know about Terumi, that he essentially saps the other person’s Heat gauge and adds it to his own and that his entire gameplay style is based around building meter? I remember hearing something about how he not only has the most Distortions of anyone in the game, but that he has a bunch more Distortions than special moves.

Also, apparently Chronophantasma is going to bring some stuff into play from the Phase Shift novels.

Yes. And according to Mori, they also want to make Terumi a easy character to play for female players. So get those sex changes ready if you want to go pro with Terumi.

What does that even mean?

It means that women are undeniably quite inferior at video games in comparison to men and must have a character designed specifically for them in order to circumvent the executional inadequacies that their vaginas contemptuously force upon them.

I think most of that except for the bit about him having lots of distortions is currently speculation.

Who the hell is Terumi? Is he Hazama’s friend/brother or something?

P.S. Whens GGvsBB?

Uh…how do I put it…

Hazama is the alias name taken up by Terumi for the Blazblue games. The body that he’s in is known as “Kazuma”. Terumi is well, the phantasm of Terumi fused with Kazuma upon being freed by Nine to fight alongside the Six Heroes against the Black Beast. Hazama is different because he got unsealed again some time, and went on to somehow work with the NOL.

AWS already announced Guilty Gear Xrd. Hopefully, they’ll make GG vs. BB after the release of that game.

… What? I re-read that 6 times and i still don’t understand what it means.

I’m afraid I’m probably not the person best suited to explain it, even though I know the differences. Ummm…whenever Hazama gets super pissed/crazy/psycho in the story, he’s become Terumi, and when he goes into Tamagahara(sp?) as the ghost thing, that’s his true form? Could somebody else who knows this stuff help out here?

Did arcsys even try to make sense coming up with his story?

It makes “sense” it’s just complicated as heck and hard to explain.

It’s easiest to just think of Terumi as “Past Hazama” - i.e. “Hazama from the time of the Black Beast”. What he’s doing here now, who knows, that bit of story hasn’t been revealed yet. Maybe he’s trying to bump off his future self and steal his good fashion sense.

Oh, So anime cliche #62

Terumi is who Hazama really is. You know that green ghost that hazama becomes at times? That’s his true form, but it’s just that, a ghost (or a ghost like being). Relius made a body for him (the one you see him as hazama). During the war against the black beast, Nine wiped his memory and he was practically forced to fight for the six heroes. During this time, with no memory, he went by the name of “Kazama”. He developed a relationship with Trinity, and feeling sorry for him, she helped him regain his memories. Unfortunately, this meant that his evil true self returned, and he proceeded to murder Nine, cause hakumen to be trapped when in the process of stopping terumi, and all that jazz blah blah blah.

So basically, Hazama and Terumi are the exact same person, but Hazama is just an alias that he goes by while inside of the body relius built him. The reason he’s being called Terumi in this is likely to differentiate between the two “characters” (unless there’s a story reason that would say why he started going by terumi in that body). Also, notice how anyone who REALLY knows him refer to him as Terumi and not Hazama. The story of BB makes sense but the biggest issue I’d say is that there are some important events that aren’t told ingame (namely everything I just said in this post), but rather, in some untranslated light novels.
