Of course I don’t, nor did I even IMPLY anywhere that I do. Don’t be an idiot. Just understand that being annoyed about these $40 crap upgrades isn’t a “just me” thing either.
Never said it was just you. But if you’re going to call someone else an idiot, I suggest you actually gain some reading comprehension and practice what you preach at the very least.
Because your sarcastic bitching about two characters you’re apparently not even going to play anyway is in no way, inherently, anyone’s problem but yours. Over here acting like this is some universal issue everyone in the community has. Stay being the only dude still surprised that you’re gonna have to pay for new versions of FIGHTING GAMES.
I can see you’re obviously just one of those “last word” niggas though, so I’ll go ahead and let you have it. :#
4 years ago when I asked SRK users if they want BlazBlue 3 (BEFORE Chrono Phantasma was announced) I read comments saying they want updates to fighting games rather than wanting a sequel. But looking at the comments now, everybody is criticizing updates in fighting games especially this game BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma EXTEND. Why???
I am extremely consistent in what I ask for. I don’t like this because they are making an “update” and then charging us as if it were a sequel.
I want “updates” in the sense of the way Starcraft updates. “Hey, guys, we’ve been monitoring the balance of this game, and this character is too good, so we’re nerfing their 5B proration and active frames, and we’re going to see how that goes. Meanwhile, other character has had the recovery time on their 236X series shortened.” And they do that. For free.
Let’s be very clear here: I have no problems paying for new characters. Much as many people seem to find it too high, I think $7 or $8 is perfectly fine for a fighting game character - a lot of work goes into them. I don’t mind (and do sometimes pay for) announcers, colors, etc, etc. I’m not opposed to giving money to a company that makes games I like. But when they start trying to charge me $40 for…basically balance changes, I get cranky. Especially when they do that on a yearly basis.
It’s not the 1990s anymore. You can update your software. We have the internet. You don’t need to release a Super Turbo Hyper Extended Bonus edition and have people spend another $40 to get the latest version of your game. Yes, if you want to release one of those so that new people can be onboarded without having to buy $75 worth of DLC or something, GREAT! Good for you! Just don’t ask all the people who have already given you their money for the game, and for all that DLC, to buy it AGAIN.
It amazes me that there’s even an argument about this.
Because having everything in one huuuuge thread is better? C’mon. Regardless of whether he “should” have done it, there are different threads for different games. Why are you so determined to argue about it?
