I do hope people in the BB community make their game a main stage game rather than having it slowly/quickly falling from grace and being put into side tournament status…

I really can’t get into this series anymore since the contrived, spin a wheel for a random anime cliche character designs put me off so god damn much.
I suppose that’s my fault for enjoying anime but BB’s character designs are like a step and a half above Arcana Heart. The variety of gameplay styles are there too but I was never able to shake off that 'I’ve already played this character in another game before, this ‘version isn’t as fun’ feeling.
Ah well. Here’s to others enjoying it.

Well, the story is taking place in that town they keep talking about right? I’m sure they are survivors from the war/profited from it/something else. Personally I wished they included a character or 2 we know already, Like Jubei, Kokonoe, Nine/Phantom, or Torakaka
Hell, there is supposivly a BB comic. Maybe characters from that? Mai(a male that is now a female) would be amusing.

As for costumes, I can’t think of a single sprite based fighting game that offered alt costumes. it would be cool for this to be the first. It would be hard though, since you need to re-draw the whole character.
I don’t like how their idea of balancing a game is to completely tame everything. Sure, when something is broken, you may want to fix it. But if you’re going to tame something to where it’s completely boring, than what’s the point? A thing about this game is what everyone complains about is the speed. I wonder if they’ll increase the in-game speed with this version.
Well, they are offering accessories for P4 arena with the glasses. So it is possible, but whether or not it’s profitable will still remain to be seen. Or they could sorta do what KoF XIII did and have some segments of the sprites kinda sectioned off? Like how Yuri has tights in her default color but if you pick the purple haired one instead she has thigh highs and seemingly no panties.
And watch! For console release, play through story mode to unlock Jubei or Kokonoe! Or both!
Bullet is awesome BECAUSE she is sort of generic. Simple design, simple weapon, and her sprite is 100x better than her portrait. Compare her to the lady boy with the flying ribbons.
How noob friendly are the BB games? Not competition-wise, but difficulty. Could I buy this for a 10-year-old and not have to come explain things to him/her every 4 minutes? thanks in advance.

On that note I hope that they do what they did in P4 and have a little bar under the hit counter to help players know when you can recover out of it. I remember that was always hard to do for me, especially online, because I would be spamming a button press through the opponents’ combo and then get blown up again.

Despite the complants I have had so far, I do like her, and want to try her out. I enjoyed Makoto alot, but couldn’t always get the timing of he charges right. So if she is like makoto but without charge moves then I am set.
And what’s wrong with her portrait 
And Yeah, I like her design better then the other 2. Buff macho man or pretty boy with ribbons. But I do like that one move that changes people into kids. I can’t wait to see how everyone looks as a kid/baby.

Yeah, but you saw the same thing in Skullgirls with parasoul and otheres… Some outfits had her with glasses and socks. Some Valentine outfits made her have a bra on.That’s not making a new costume. In those cases the sprite itself has a spot for those items, but normally they are just colored like the skin of the outfit. TO make an whole new costume, a whole new sprite would have to be made.
And I would love to see that… though now a days DLC is more likely

Well, you said it right there. Anime. You are going to see that in an fighting game that is hugely based on Anime. No getting around that. Besides, she’s not the only one with giant boobs.
I will admit, seeing some normal sized ones would be nice. it seems you have either flat as a board or giant boobs, with not much in between. Tsubaki may have the most normal sized chest. I would argue that makato’s sprite is decent sized as well…

I’m not into BB because of anime. I’m into BB cause its fun. I’m allowed to dis the anime aspect of it.
If we’re gonna bring that up, the little bit of Bullet I’ve seen her sprite is fine…
Although thinking on it, it would be SOOO humorous if Taokaka sees Bullet and Litchi confronting each other. She’d have booby overload. xD
