The assistant manager says the game is going to get in on the 29th. Not sure if his manager is just messing with him or not since he knows he has been waiting for the game. More info later…
I’m sorry that seems to be the truth, there is a huge discussion on gfaqs and all Canadians are saying their EBs get it later this month. If this is true I need help from you guys getting the copy from any stores. Canada got screwed over big time. Its sold out on amazon.com and gamestop.com. I’m starting to think Aksys never had enough copies and Canada day was not the issue. Accent Core for ps2 came a week later than expected in Canada.

Yeah I heard the 29th too, WTF are we supposed to do now? Why should we be waiting an extra fucking month over our neighbors to the south? That’s ridiculous.
I got my copy yesterday at Gamerama at Yonge & Eglinton. Not sure how many more they have in stock, but you could always phone them: 416-487-5501.

EB Games in montreal has just confirmed me by phone something happened and they now have the 29th as shipping date … she said call later today for more information …

So i heard some news that Aksys didn’t print enough copies for PS3. So PS3 is delayed till July 29th which would be the second print run. Apparently xbox has enough though. Don’t know if this is true or not though.
I guess they forgot to print enough copies to fulfill preorders that have existed for months…
Ok so I called 2 stores.
VGP and Gamerama. VGP said the game is gonna be there around 12:30ish and Gamerama already has theirs in. Good luck my Toronto brothers, time to pick up my fucking game.
Wow that seems to be the street fighter 4 issue. How does EB just take pre orders without confirming shipments. EB is much to blame as Aksys! SRK is having a 2v2 casual tournament on monday and I don’t even have the game. I am never pre ordering from EB again. I’d rather pay shipping fees, this is stupid.
EBs computers are saying July 29th for both PS3 and 360 versions.

I’ve heard that Canada won’t be getting the PO LE version.

Oh well, I got my copy imported from Gamestop.com, was almost 100 Canadian with customs and everything, but the game’s worth it imo.
EDIT: The game was shipped the 29th and I got it 30th early in the morning.
well looks like in montreal ist only EB Games the problem i just found a place GAME BUZZ downtown that actualy sold out and Microplay on decarie still has some im going to get mine now HAHAHHA

All the Microplay Stores in Province of Quebec received some today.
Doesn’t seem to be the same for Ontario(Ottawa)… I might be driving over to Gatineau today. =(
