I cant say much about the blanka, other than it was very solid.

The viper match though, I hate to say it but you just kinda fell apart at the end. I know the feeling, certainly. Dont stop blocking low, I know yer worried about the overhead, but he got so many low mk into punch thing, into dizzy, all because you wouldnt duck. There is more to it than that, and I kinda see what you were trying to do, but in that situation, instead of standing, maybe jumping back to reset might be better. There isnt much viper can do to you, from that distance, and it lets you reset space.

Also, it seems in this match, Wolkrone knew how you played. For example, when you crossed her up with mk, she would almost ALWAYS just do uppercut, and trade with your poke. She resets the situation, and does more damage than your light attack. All you had to do was block one of those, and he was so fucked. Im not sure which ultra you were using, I recommend ultra 1 in this match if anything just to punish whiffed uppercuts. Honestly, some may call it a “read”, but I think he just predicted you would press buttons after the crossup mk, and uppercutted every time. Block and punish that shit.

Good matches overall. Who else beat you? The evil ryu? I guess they were calling him alucard?

i think i tried up balling him but it didn’t come and then i just got frustrated and got blown up. after watching the matches the day after i knew i should have been baiting the dp i could have easily won. me and wolf have played a pretty decent amount of times now so we both have a good feel for how each other play. i did play alucard in loser’s finals but he ran rog which is the character hes most known for, id honestly say hes probably the second best rog in the country right under pr rog. i ended up trying to play bison agaisnt him which i regret now, i could have won with blanka. the match was pretty ugly though, my brain was fried by that match and i just fell apart

My toughts exactly, but then again, you only tried the unblockable 2 times, there were other two times you had a backthrow and didn’t went for it (I assumed you already knew he knew, so you tried to bait him…)

Another thing that I found amazing about Wolfkrone was that he HP ThunderKnuckle’d two times your attempt at cl.MP frametrap without meter to FADC. Very corageous of him.

os cr.strong is good. doesn’t beat feint though. Os throw is very good vs. feints however.

Watching the vid…Nishikin sometimes makes me feel like he doesnt have much of a strategy and he just kinda does things cuz he feels like doing them. All these focuses…and just gettin beaten to death because of it. Oi

I find it funny that the first button nishikin presses in the match is standing mp and it connects…and then he never presses that button again…focus focus focus focus, omg balrog predicted your focus with an ultra…GG

Ok, later in the match nishikin presses standing mp again at the beginning of the round…and of course it leads into a combo. And then, he never uses it again except to randomly whiff it from full screen for like 1 round.

Does anyone have a video of the forward throw, LP ball, step back ambiguous j.FP setup? If no one does, I’ll finally get around to getting FRAPS and recording myself attempting to it this weekend. I’ll also record the ambiguous j.MK one, I’m not sure 100% if I’m doing it right.
