well when you don’t play a character for over a year you tend to be pretty bad with them.
Also assuming Seth is an unfamiliar match for the most part. No idea why you’d go fei to blanka thats like the opposite of what you want to do.
Blanka has lots of chances for safe offense, but I’m kinda tired and don’t want to write a bunch.
Now, people think Mizoteru is weak, thanks Youtube lol, a lot of people forget he was very strong in Vanilla.
He’s not a strong Blanka player now… at least in the Seth matchup. I know I’m not either.
im more talking about the 4 upballs in a row when he was in the corner, occurred sometime during the first third of the movie. Then he kept doing it. Was maddening. I mean, there is being rusty, then there is being stupid.
And besides, the words mizoterrible is just too awesome to say.
I’ve played the seth matchup a bit, and the thing that blanka really needs to do is stay mobile, move around, stay random (not in the shinanigans type way, but in the movement type way). Mizoterrible just stood there like a dead duck. I would say he won 1/4 to 1/5 of the matches, which is uck

Too much upball, random ultra, sometimes ball to ending a combo when he could ending with elec and not wast 2 bars of meter etc… i agree with you, a lot of big mistakes, this is the Mizoteru’s friend, not him.
used to fei/cammy having real reversals haha.

You talking about that match that happened around the time of the Shiozawa cup? That probably was 8:2 considering he was fighting Iyo. Iyo was just too godlike with Sim.

I think you’re being too hard on him lol. When Sabin when to Japan he praised him for playing very smart and patient vs Sim. 75% win rate with Blanka in Vanilla is really good.
That’s Sabin in vanilla and from the way he posted about him it’s seems like he hasn’t really played a good blanka before that… I’m pretty sure if he plays the same Mizo today going against the same strats it’s not gonna work regardless of version simply because he was fighting a style he never seen before back then
