i’ve been having trouble with wakeup combos…i always seem to get thrown even tho i am jamming lp or lk…any suggestions to get around this?
You can be thrown during the startup frames of lp and lk. The best solution would be to option select crouch tech (press lp+lk (throw) while crouched). Doing this will cause your character to either tech a throw, extend a c.lk, or block, depending on what your opponent does.
What are good cross up PC set ups? Other than Slide and J.mp, cl.hp reset.
Is Hp or EX Psycho Crusher safe when done at close range (because it makes him go through to the other side), or can you be punished for it?
-After a connected lk scissors, but the opponent has to tech their wakeup

-I believe you can use EX crusher after a connected U2

Yeah…i read through that a bit. I’m going to go with a “No it isn’t safe” on that one. lol Though i was reffering to it as a combo ender more so than a wake up reversal. I guess the best thing to do is end combos w/ l. knee press unless it’s hit confirmed, in which case hp or ex PC does better damage. On wake up, i do love using EX PC though, it usually either hits them, or gets me to safety, either way it’s well worth an EX bar. But after reading that thread, i think i’ll start switching to the EX Devils reverse. I don’t like it as much bc it’s hard to predict where the apponent’s going to be so i can try and hit them with the arm, but i’ll have to work on that i suppose. Thanks.
Well if you look at it closely, only a handful of characters can punish you without meter. Some characters require full super, and even then it doesn’t fully connect. Other characters have to select the correct ultra. Meter awareness is an important skill in this game, and you would be doing yourself a disservice by limiting your options and writing off EX-Psycho as unsafe.
As for ending in combos, you’re right that you should generally not end any combos with anything besides lk scissors unless its hit confirmed.
Thanks m16ghost. I’ll have to work on my awareness of all the characters punishing options and meter over time. I’m still sort of a beginner. But that gives me something to shoot for. Another question…is head stomping right as your apponent is getting up a decent tactic? I do it and it tends to work for some chip damage or it might trade with an anti air but usually the damage taken is worse for the apponent. Obviously i shouldn’t do it in certain instances, like when Hakkan has his U2 or something, but in general, is it something that’s smart or should i play it more safe?
It’s fairly reliable as chip. The issue is more that you reset your distance after you just scored a knockdown. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, because some matchups are played as keep away.

low jab, stand jab, low forward, scissor kick. I’m having issues linking the scissors in the end. I only seem to hit it with ex sc. are you guys plinking the low forward and then cancel to the scissors?

That makes me wonder, are there any mashable bison combos into scissors? I’ll seriously never get cr.lk x3 into scissors with a pad 
Speaking of Cr.Lk X3 is it seriously worth it? It only does 9 damage more than just LkxxSk and I’m dawm tired of getting DPd or thrown out of it.
Do as many c.LK’s as you need to ensure you have charge for the SK.

I recently picked up Dictator myself, and I find that I’m having trouble with the c.lp, c.lp, c.lk xx lk.sk
I can get the jabs and short to come out every time, but for some reason scissors doesn’t happen. I think my timing is off, and was wondering what an approximate timing is. Do I hit f.lk immediately after pressing lk for the short? Or do I need to pause for a certain amount of time.
I can also cancel c.lk xx lk.sk every time if I don’t jab beforehand, but I think the timing is different when using the jabs.
Sorry for the n00bish question, but I need to be able to land this bnb if I want to get him anywhere beyond beating scrubs.
the timing is not different when using jabs. its a pretty fast beat dude. its not like balrog where you can be slow and still land his bnb. i barely do that bnb anyway it does only like 160-ish damage, you should be going for 200+ damage combos if all possible.
The only Bison B&B that does 200+ is c.LP s.LP s.LK c.MK xx RH SK. All his combos that start with c.LK do less … so to suggest avoiding them simply due to damage is really not a good idea.
It ended up being my timing. I can now land the combo every time - because I wasn’t linking the c.lp and c.lk correctly.
It works for me like this: c.lp, c.lp, (slight delay) c.lk xx lk.sk

After destroying a Juri with Bison if I send a message saying, “Aye Juri, imma real happy for you, and im gonna let you finish, but M. Bison is the greatest street fighter villian of all time. ALL TIME!” you think they’ll give me negative feedback and say im “unsporting?”
This is a serious question! I once lost to a fellow Bison player with Chun and to be funny I messaged him saying “You monster! You killed my Father!” He didn’t get it, responded “kkkkkkkkk” then said I was unsporting. The hell…? I should of left him bad feedback for not knowing his Bison memes!
