Bisons Official SSF4 Tournament: #4, Oct2, Waterloo, ON, Cash+Custom Stick for Winner

me vs robbie first round plz

EXCEPT IT WILL BE HIS LAST ROUND!!!

except that doesn’t even make sense

I’ll be coming out for this on Saturday however no brownies or other baked goods will be in attendance with me. Now that I’ve actually started learning how to play SF, I’m trying to stay out of the kitchen.

I think Emily will manage to get past round 1 imo.

Emily, while I know you don’t like the expectations people have of you, I highly recommend you join the tournament anyways. Just playing casuals is no fun :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, don’t worry, everyone knows you have like a one week experience with this game, and you have nothing to lose if you do end up going 0-2. Its all part of the learning process, which you seem very keen on doing.

Emily vs Ra’id on the stream!

This. No money involved either, so Ra’id has no excuse!

but there will be side bets, i got a packet of mnms on Emily!!!

Sooooo…can anyone give me a ride to this? My friend is indeed a flop.

Greyhound.

LOOOOOOOOL, bastards.

EDIT: Ok, so I was checking greyhound (yeah i gave in) and it says it takes a fucking day and so to get to waterloo from toronto. Now I know there has to be some who go to waterloo from toronto for school or vice-versa, is that trip time really true?! If not, what do any of you recommend?

Shit. This is what you were talking about earlier.

I guess I have become the Keith Jardine of the KW scene.

Lose four in a row, get fired and lose to shittier competition in a new city?

Yea that pretty much sums it up.

Uhhh… that’s weird. Try looking up Toronto to Kitchener (Charles St Terminal). There are buses every 1-2 hours and the trip is anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on how many stops the bus is making. Most(?) buses continue to the University of Waterloo as well.

KW’s local bus service can be found here:
http://www.grt.ca/

You’ve basically got 2 options:

  • Get off at Charles St. Terminal and catch the #8 bus northeast to University and Weber.
  • Get off at the University of Waterloo, walk south to University Ave, and catch the #7, #8, #9, or #12 bus east to University and Weber.

The autoshop is 1-2 minutes walk south of that intersection.

Huzzah!

check go bus. they run every 2 hours to UW from toronto… Actually, I only know they run from square one mississauga to UW, but I imagine they have lines to toronto too.

edit: they run every 2 hours on weekends… every 1 hour on weekdays.

GO Bus from Toronto to Sauga (Square One) and then from Sauga to Kitchener/Waterloo might also be a good option.

By the way, if you’re going to take a Greyhound, buy a same-day return ticket. It costs about $3 more than a one-way ticket.

Nevermind, if I can take a GO bus that would be much better. Now, if I go to Sq1 from toronto, must I pay another fare to take from sauga to kitchener/waterloo?

Most likely yes.

Damn damn damn, looking pricey but I’ll try. Thanks for the help bill and mtran.
