Hey guys. I didn’t think this was worth of making a new thread but I need you guys to test this out. I think I might have just found something. It still needs testing but I can confirm it works to a certain extent. Anyway here goes…
I was in training mode warming up doing 4x c.lk xx lk.sk… I have my days where I miss that link and sometimes I can beast it perfectly. So yesterday was one of the days where I couldn’t link it consistently. So out of just boredom I tried to do c.lk by hitting two buttons instead of 1. Kinda like the case where you get a lk when you try to crouch tech.
So I dash in and do crouch lp+lk and voila it seems 1000 times easier to link now @_@. The inputs were definitely registering better. I don’t know why this happens but you guys need to test it out. I guess its because the grab is more input lenient than the lk ?
Try to dash in and do a 4x c.short into lk scissor then try to do dash in 4x crouch tech into lk scissor.
^ you’re just plinking it, and yeah it is a bit easier. i’ve gotten so used to the rhythm of doing it without plinking that plinking now throws me off but im going to try and get used to it.
I’m pretty sure I"m not plinking it. I was looking at the inputs if I was plinking i would have to delay the lp input then i would get something like lk and lk+lp on top of it in the inputs… but thats not the case here… I was just doing normal crouch teching…
oh. well then i dunno what to tell you, maybe it still counts when you just push crouch tech? that delay is like a frame btw, so it’s still possible you’re doing it without knowing it. maybe someone else can answer.

edit: lol these Chun Li’s are pissing me off DR…that double KO literally made me drop my controller from laughter.
some tips though: vs Chun Li, try to bait her to jump, using Focus, then dash when she jumps, and punish. also, your corner mindgames could use a little bit of work. I noticed you tend to just try to jump over, over catch them with sHK or cLK/cMK. I also can’t recall you using one ex PC to burn through Chun Li’s fireball
I need a new controller so I can stop fucking up SK’s and HS’s (notice how often I do a combo, then end it with a standing LK or neutral jumpkicks?)
This dude tagged ‘Zangief Master’ (Julian from Philly) randomly added me to a room with him and Adnan (Sim player from NYC). I played like complete shit – I recognized Adnan’s name, and I fucking CRUMBLE as soon as I recognize that I’m playing with dudes who are known to be good. I got handled by Julian’s Bison. Regardless of how I played, dude is mad smart. Good shit!
