Also, u can eat donuts and fill vbar as long as sim is fullscreen and isn’t doing random teleports. The fireball doesn’t go completely fullscreen.
When you’re in midscreen, you can go under his fireball with heavy headbutt xx super (that’s how I ended 2 sim matches). You need to be on point with your reactions though.

A lot of birdies move are more read based, like chain grab air. If you are throwing it when you see them jump, you’re to late

Well since the previous hitconfirms don’t work anymore and since s.MP isn’t positive on block, I’ve changed my approach on pressuring after a jump.
Now I usually scramble between these options

xup, sLK, sLK, sHK

  • This is great for button mashers since it leads to CC. It also catches people who jump or hold up after sLK, it’s my favorite approach.

xup, sLK, sLK, sMP xx m.bull revenger

  • This one is a gimmick that catches people who just block or stand still. Light bull revenger will whiff on faster characters like chun li if they hold back.

xup, sLK, sLK, overhead

  • Great if you want to mix it up or stun someone

xup, smp xx hitconfirm into headbutt xx super

  • I usually do this when I have bar and visually confirm off of st.MP

Unfortunately, this only seems to work against Ryu cr.MK xx LP Fireball. MP/HP/EX Fireball will all hit you out of f.HP, so it’s not a viable tactic. I don’t think frame 2 armour is quite accurate.

Against Ken, it interrupts his cr.MK xx HP Fireball, so it’s actually worth doing in that matchup.

For both, cr.MP xx HP Fireball is a blockstring and reaches farther than cr.MK, so I’m pretty sure most players will go to that over cr.MK once they play a little more and get used to it.

His slide attack (df+HP) seems to be buffed.
In the previous builds you couldn’t start the match with it and duck under any fireball, but now you can smoothly go under an opponent who starts the match with Ryu’s fireball.
Also in neutral it seems to just go over lows and under fireballs much easier.

Is the 1st, 2nd and 4th one a combo?

No they’re blockstrings and frametraps since I think it’s more worthwhile to go this direction compared to s.lk, s.lp xx lp.headbutt (this is a combo).
4th one is also combo though.

It’s his secret best move now.

Man I really wish his TAP was charge or something instead of buttons. So many times I release for ex for easily called reversal, and then nothing comes out.

Banana is being slept on, that move is crazy.
