Really? If I’m far, I’ll space my jump to the point just before I land.

It’s subpar. Most of the time I can jump in, see the flash go off, land, and block assuming I distanced right. It has an unnecessarily slow start up. Low jump destroys it. Geese’s AA game isn’t so hot, and RS doesn’t help it much outside of being a good anti-crossup / close anti-air, where Geese already has cr.HP. And I don’t even know if it’s good damage.

I’d rather use RS for corner traps against people who get jumpy under pressure.

I sound like I’m fucking babbling random shit. Hopefully, someone gets what I’m talking about. =/

It’s true people tend not to jump in on a raged Geese because of RS. but the fact that it has a pretty slow start up that can be timed to block if u land early enough doesn’t make it that great of a move. Oh, and BTW, Sagat’s uppercut is the best in the game. Cross up xx Lpx2 xx tiger uppercut hits 8 times 0_0

Just buffer it. If the opponents jumps (or low jumps) you just press any P button, if he doesnt, press a K button to unbuffer the motion. RS is really good

You can’t buffer it using a punch of the opponent low jumps. you’d either hit them with the punch or they’re gonna land and block before the RS goes off. Especially those people with crazy fast low jumps like mai and nakoruru.

If you’re buffering the RS motion because you’re expecting a low jump, you aren’t blocking, which opens you up for basic ground game stuff (therefore giving your opponent what he/she wanted the low jump to do; let them in).

RS just isn’t that great; that’s a fact I know can stand by. It’s by no means useless, but also by no means one of Geese’s main tools.
