Best Ultimate Tech Talk Hang Out Loud Edition Season V

all seimitsu ftw!

The circle gate did seem to help with the charge motions, but I’m still not sold on the feel, even with my spring mod. I very well may go the LS-32 route in another week. I’d need to change the template and remove the Sanwa logo, but still…

Note to self: Next time I install screw-in buttons, screw in the middle buttons first. In to out, not the other way around. :grrr:

Can anyone tell me if the Hori Wireless (Tekken 6) for x360 wireless stick can be easily dual-modded with a Sixaxis/Axisdapter?

SIXAXIS is not Common Ground.
So you cannot use it to Dual Mod.

The AXISdapter does make it Common Ground.

What you can do is use the Leo Board from Gummowned.
It turns the SIXAXIS Common Ground, so be able to use for Dual Mod.

To piggyback off that, I believe there’s a walkthru where Gum did just that:

I wish there were quality name-brand Happ/iL sticks made by Mad Catz or other companies so I didn’t have to spend a fortune on custom made Happ/iL sticks…

Dr. B makes specialized B-sticks and B-buttons for when the human race evolves beyond locomotion.

Man, I fought that fight on many threads here. Sad, but not gonna happen for too many reasons. Sux to have to go the custom route. But I’ve done 3 and will have to start 2 more soon, so I feel your pain.

In fairness, the fact that commercial sticks suport only Japanese parts likely helps guys like Voltech make an extra bit of money.

not the greatest picture, but a pawn shop was selling this down the street from my work. I might go back and buying it but what platform is it for? SNES? It’s capcom branded.

ah looks like it

might go back and buy it.,

Get it! If you’re lucky it’ll be one of the ones with a JLW.

It looks awesome:o

I have one of those capcom sticks laying around somewhere… maybe I’ll open it up and check what its got in it heh.

On a different note, what feasible ways do I have to add one of the Neutrik RJ45 passthroughs into a TE stick? I’m thinking next to the Start/Select or in the Cord compartment, not sure if i have enough clearance space for it there though, and if it’ll get in the way of the jlf

I think the way I’ll be recommending from now on is the one Strogq showed me at Evo: Remove the select button, put the neutrick in the Select hole. On the main TE pcb, cut the turbo trace before it gets to the black goop, and solider a fine wire from the turbo button to the Select signal.
You lose turbo (boo-freakin-hoo), and the ā€˜used to be turbo but is now select’ button will still be cut off if the lock switch is on.

Hmm, I hadn’t thought of running it that way, and I really like that idea.
Awesome, now I don’t have to worry about making another 24mm hole in the case

You comfy enough to handle the turbo/select rerouting or you need a diagram?

I wish I hadn’t taken the artwork off my SE stick when I first got it…

On my TE–I rerouted my START to piggy off the TURBO. So that way pressing the turbo button will activate both, but don’t press any face buttons at the same time or turbo will map to those buttons.
I still like using turbo for Final Fight—I’m lazy 8^P

If you have a diagram handy, it’d be nice to have. I’m sure I could find it on my own, but any help would be cool, Toodles.
