IMO PC IDE ribbon cable is the cheapest and easiest way to find 28 gauge…but not in blue.

I’ve bought from bulkwire.com. I recieved my wire in about a week and a half.
They have 28 gauge stranded teflon insulated wire, and in 10 colors I might add. Teflon coated wire is more heat resistant and doesn’t shrink.

They need “Guile Green”.
Thanks guys I’ll check on the wires from those sites. Its a pain in the ass to find solid strand but I can still make it work with stranded.
Sup Maj…
Nah, I should be the one saying sorry, I should probably read all the words in a post, even at 4am lol.
I also just learned that I get stupid discounts from Grainger (lol govt. contract work), I need to start buying my shit there…

Anyone knows where and how much a full ssf4 ae and a vewlix would cost?
Last I checked around $16,000 USD. This is from an arcade in Nashville that is getting one tomorrow.
16k base from what I understand. That’s before shipping and all that fun shit, I can see it costing upwards around 20k…

And hiring an arcade tech ;O
thats a whole shit ton of quarters to make up the cost of just one cab…
or if you have an old cab already like some versus city cab, you can just get a board…

Plus a Taito Type X2 system board… Not to mention, those old things probably don’t support HD. You could do it, but I could see the point in new hardware in this case.
Two words: TWO PLAYER. Lol. XD
Vinyl Dye is good. I havent used that brand. If it’s your first time make sure its in pristine condition. Any nicks or scratches will show after the dye. I dont use vinyl dye, because most of the plastics I use have imperfections. The process I like to use is primer then light coat of whatever color. Then wet sand 1000 grit. Then add a coat then repeat. Clear coat after.
I was gonna buy one as an investment but f that.
So I just manually crimped my own Rj45-USB cable with a screw driver
I was under the impression that each SSFIV cabinet only supported one player and that you needed two for versus.
