For you car nuts, I’m considering redoing the photo DVD I did of my trip to Las Vegas for the SEMA show in '06. While it’s not open to the public, don’t ask how I got in. I think I snapped 1300+ pictures in the 3 1/2 days I was out there, and still didn’t get everything. I had done a DVD a while ago with some crappy M$ program and burned a few copies, but the computer I had the DVD on crashed. I planned on making another one and getting the music synced better, but categorizing all the cars again (GM, Ford, MoPAR, Import, exotics, etc) will be a PITA.
I tossed one of the vids on youtube. Let me know if you like and I may upload another, and at some point get that DVD redone:

Only cheap-ass people would point out a sale and complain cause they are fortunate enough to get a sale on items atleast once a month. Nevermind that for those who dont know about the deals they dont flinch when they buy it for full retail price at stores.
This. Honestly, the TE is worth it at full retail IMHO. Maybe if we kept the prices even higher, maybe custom builders would actually have somewhat of a profit when they make their full customs. Remember B15’s rant? All because of people not wanting to spend for quality, when the price could and should be a lot worse.
I told a friend about the $100 TEs. Free shipping, included. But what did he do? “Oh, I don’t wanna wait, so I’m gonna go buy a fightstick from gamestop. It’s only $70!” I told him that that is indefinitely an SE, and that the parts are completely terrible, and will not stand the test of time. I also told him that he could get them online at a discounted price from madcatz. Didn’t wanna wait on that. Went out and bought SE. -sigh-. Impatience and cheapness. Can be seen everywhere.
Try Trading outlet. But most people are still partial to JLF-TP, not JLF-TM. I like JLF-TM. But I already have one, but not even a case for it.
Well, he just joined in October so he can’t sell yet.

Which do you guys think would get me a faster return: selling a dual-modded stick in the trading outlet, or just parting the stock sticks out (buttons, stick, pcb, case, plate, etc etc).
Hell, I should just slap some laminated ecchi wallpaper on it and sell it on eBay as a “Special DRD Custom” for $300.

Get the Tech Talk “gang” (as the mouth-breather DSP put it) to sign it! It’ll sell for more!
We can get TeamTechTalk to sign it. And make it a Team effort. One person can swap out each button, then sign, then send to next person, etc.
Hit up B15 or maybe even Jinxz might know of any other places to get that in UK… I’m sure one of em has used something similar.
if you price it right parting out the stock components will get you more money as a whole… less work also
