My HRAP 2 is starting to yellow on one side, how do I prevent this? It’s only a little bit so it’s not too bad, but I don’t want it to get worse. I’ve always kept it on a shelf away from most light, but apparently that wasn’t enough. Should I just put it in the box and hide it in my closet?
Keep it out of direct sun light. UV Rays will yellow ABS Plastic over time.
Retrobright (look it up) can repair some of this damage.
trying to play old snk titles like king of fighters 98 with a sanwa stick is a lost hope, at least for me. I did it for years with no good results, the sanwa just feels to long half the time my moves didn’t come out at first and long combos and specials were impossible to perform in a consistent basis. The seimitsu was a different story though I immediately fell in love with it. The Shortest throw/engage distance did make a difference it is like playing with a happ stick but with better feel.

I hate you. I went to two grocery stores and one gas station trying to find it and I turned up empty.
I have a HRAP2… its still pretty white, i keep it in the blue plastic that comes in the box when i shelf it.
I also have a “second run” HRAP2SA (the rerelease just a few years ago)… i got it boxed. but its more yellowed than the technically “older” built HRAP2. I keep it in the same conditions (indoors, on a shelf, covered with the blue plastic that was in the box), but yeah its noticeably less white.

I had predicted this a while back. After Big Picture mode, I knew that a Steam based OS would be the next logical step towards the steambox. If only they would have named it Vapor.
They want this OS to be free, not just so Valve won’t be the only people to make the steambox, but so that they can get the OS out in the wild. Developers are already working with SteamOS and building up a solid library. By establishing the OS intended for gaming and getting developers onboard, Valve has secured a solid list of launch titles for the steambox. In addition, the release of the OS will motivate AMD and Nvidia to perfect their Linux drivers to create a solid and efficient platform. Most of Valve’s games that received Linux ports perform substantially better on Linux than on identical windows machines.
I predict that with Steam OS, and the eventual Steambox, we will see change in the gaming market. It won’t be noticeable at first(if at all), as it will mostly be the PC gamers using SteamOS and the Steambox, but as the potential is seen, other gamers will most likely adapt the platform. SteamOS will gradually gain marketshare as PC gamers build new PC, and refrain from purchasing a Windows license.
Valve has an excellent track record, and there’s a lot of hype surrounding the steambox. I think that valve will be the first PC company to successfully break through into the console market. How it will effect the other consoles? I do not know.

Do you happen to use HootSuite with that account? I’ve heard about a lot of people getting their Twitter accounts hacked lately, and all of the ones I’ve talked to have HootSuite in common. It’s been enough for me to stop using the service.
