PS360+ hori modded stick not recognized in PC Tech Talk

Hey all, I’ve recently upgraded to a new computer, and suddenly my dual-modded stick is not recognized by the PC. I get a message that “USB Device not recognized” when I plug it to the USB port. The stick works perfectly fine on my 360 and PS3. I tried to find a downloadable driver or something but I couldn’t find anything. I have to add that my Qanba and another HRAP3 that is not modded works fine. HELP :frowning:

Hi guys, I want to start off saying I’m a complete a-technical guy and I don’t understand much about the deeper workings of a pcb. This problem has been bothering me (and my mod guy) for quite a while. It started when I got my ps360+ placed about 2 months ago. At first it worked completely fine and I enjoyed it for about a week. PS360+ not being recognized in SSF4AE PC Tech Talk

My stick works perfectly fine on 360, PS3, and in emulators on PC. It is up to date with 1.3 firmware. However, whenever I try to play AE on PC, it never detects the joystick in the button config. Please note that it USED to be detected in AE about 4 months ago. I cannot figure out what is going on… any thoughts?

I have a bunch of PSOne LCDs I bought for projects a while back. I should mod one into a UD-CPS2 and make it portable. Lol, batteries would last like 10 min.

I fucking hate fixing laptops. Blank screen on my brother’s laptop… so tested the VGA output and it works, ok so MB isn’t fried. Moving on, order a new screen (LCD, no inverter type apparently), still nothing, and in a fit of frustration I cracked the casing on the flex cable end. So now I’m about to order a new cable to see if that’s what shit out, and if it is that means I need to remove the new screen and put the old one back in and return the new one. If it’s not that, I dunno what the hell to do. Desktops are so much easier to debug, yet I need to buy a laptop for my own work, bleh

Yep. My kiddo knocked my laptop off the couch on to the floor. The power cord snapped off the dc jack. It was a $2 part and a good two hours of disassembly, desolder, resolder, reassembly. Not fun even for someone who enjoys that type of thing.

Should have given it too @Gummo , he’d have fixed it using only a Dremel and duct tape.

Just for everyone’s information, I just received my order from this company; Pololu.com and everything is great quality!

Most notably, they sell pre-crimped .100 wires (male, female or both) and pretty much any configuration of plastic housings for them. I hooked 2 of them to a pivoting motor and let it run for six hours on it’s highest speed, no failures. Did I mention that they are dirt cheap?

With Pardise Arcade Shop’s Kaimana on the horizon, I’ve been making some plans for including some simple robotics in my next project. Gotta love Arduino!
