If they had 1 console / 1 player LAN tourney support in games, events could be run quickly and efficiently, but everything goes through the mother ship these days.
Unlikely unless either Sony or Microsoft sets up and make it happen for larger more prestigious tournaments like Evo or Godās Garden .
Small time Tourneys are SOL

Technically someone should be able to make a USB-USB adapter for next gen consoles to use PS3/360 sticks. If itās using a decent processor, it should only cost a few milliseconds to gather and pass off the data, which will be dwarfed by the latency in the rest of the system.

2, Divekick is a PS4 launch title.
Personally, Iāve been wondering if people would be interested in some sort of custom control panel that would interface with a padhacked controller or PCB to allow the existing TE control panel (or at least the plastic bits and switchgear) to work with them.
As much hype as Dive Kick gotten, I canāt keep an idea of a standalone Dive Kick stick serious. But that point is moot which you try to factor in other games.
I also Know the PS 4 is supposed to have a New exclusive shmup, but then again its by the makers of Super Stardust, so I donāt know if it conform to a arcade stick standard.
For us Pro Stick builders and modders, well just pad hack a offical pad so its no worries for us, itās those inexperienced guys who should be worried.
Then again I ran into trouble trying to Probe a Ouya game pad.

Yay, fixed my headphones. Getting the heatshrink to fit over the connector was a pain, but I was too lazy to desolder, slip the heatshrink over, and do everything over again.
At the very least, they should be able to remain functional until I can afford to replace them. Not sure what Iāll replace them with. Iām currently tied between AKG 701/702, Beyer DT990, and Grado-Alessandro MS1000(Grado MS1 mod). I know I would enjoy any of the headphones, I just donāt know which pair I would want to purchase.

Recently dropped $400 on replacement cooling fans for CPS2 boards. Weird dropping that much money on something so mundane.
In more exciting recent purchase news, I just scored the most limited regular release Rockman game ever. My collection seems pretty solid at this point.

Donāt think Iāll need a next-gen compatible stick until GG:XRD if thatās next-gen. Hopefully there will be some Chinese knock-off options by then, since I donāt really want to drop an extra $60 on a pad.
Because people are still willing to pay that price. Itās something Iām having to learn as a businessman myself. You charge what people will pay, not what itās actually worth to you.
Grats on that. Going up against one of Samās sticks and winning is quite an accomplishment, and that was the stick to do it.
Speaking of Snapbacks, a stick I worked on three years ago off of one of Byrdoās old cases ended up in this monthās running. >.>

I am not a huge fan of roms in general, but Iāve found that I greatly prefer them sorted into genres. I couldnāt find any tools that offer this for the NES.
Hereās a small bat file that will chew through a GoodNES set and copy files to sub directories. Just put it in the same directory as an extracted GoodNES set and run it.

I need to do the same for Genesis. It just took me several hours to get this together.

Iāve been thinking of possibly doing more tech related editorial content on the front page, but Iām not sure about what exactly to write about. Anyone have any suggestions?

Looks like GG:XRD is confirmed PS4 now, since it was just on the Sony press conference. Although, maybe theyāll release on PS3 as well, who knows.
Edit:
Oh it seems it is PS3/PS4. So thatās cool, no need to padhack right away.

I will admit that I wouldnāt have written the front page article if not for this post. I was watching the press-con but had to leave halfway when my grandma called to have me get stuff to fix her kitchen sink.
So for like a dozen Facebook post, I found legitimate ways to use the same image over and over as a response
My new WTF reaction pic.

It would be cool if you covered UD-CPS2 at some point
Only thing Iām really missing press-wise is some cool art. Thereās actually some nice line art of the stock CPS2 in Capcomās original game manuals that Iād like to vectorize and use, but just been busy w/ other stuff.
