All of these good players, I actually faced technicalMonkey and didn’t do too bad. I’m new to ssf2hd and really want some people to play with before SF4. I’m rather new to the fighting game network but I don’t think I’m too bad (just like every other noob)

Hey I can remember when I didn’t know how to reverse tic throws that shit pissed me off! But I played through it and one day I had an epiphany!!! I figured out if I just held back on the stick and tapped my throw button I got the throw 
I never went all crazy on people I just learned from my mistakes. I feel like we are doing him a great service because some day he’ll figure out what to do to get around it esp if everyone he plays just tic throws him to death.
Anyway back to the Best of… Wouldn’t it be cool if we had a poll for each Character with the names taken from here that we could all vote for? I think it would be fun esp if we had to not only get the title but defend it as well. Anyway just a thought cause I have no idea how to set that up.

Also, realistically some guys like Dreamtr, ShadyK, and MLSwear probably are some of the best even with their “off” characters, but I’ve tried to focus on people who are known to main each character.

These players also smell terrible at times. This is part of where the term comes from. Bad players, bad attitudes, bad grooming.
As far as OG goes, an “OG” is technically a top player from CE days: see Watts, Tomo, Jeff Schaefer. Valle started getting good, according to my chats with jeff, around A2. People throw the term around a lot these days… and I guess the definition can include the old strong players. Jason Wilson, DreamTR, is NOT a Cali player though. However, he IS a legendary X-Band player and defeated cali og Jason Nelson in A2 (Vegas tourney I think) way back when. Not ragging on Jason Wilson though, he is a fuckin beast, just clarifying shit so you guys don’t get it twisted.
My new shit though is arcade SFIV, I want to become one of Japan’s top Honda players in THAT game. I am going to Shibuya every week from now on to play against Grandmasters, Ino, Isse guys like that… after my first Thursday free play session I improved dramatically.
You guys should let me know when you get SFIV and send me a friend request. If the netcode (during play) is about the same as HDR we won’t have lag issues.
Also Papacha thanks for the props. I might be back on HDR soon even though I made a big estrogen post in the GGs thread. I was just about to throw my PS3 out the window from all the glithches, drops, shit players etc.
At least in HDR every character has a way out of ticking/traps and can win. ST not so much… playing in Japan makes me realize how broken vanilla ST REALLY is. If you play in Japan with a “no reversal” character you will get your fuckin ass raped in.
My List so far:
Bison- T3r Dictator this guy is a true student of the game and really wants to improve. I think he is the future of Bison players… all he needs is reversal timed Devils Reverse and Super.
E. Honda- Not being arrogant but I like Mine. I haven’t played any other Hondas here, and that match is ridiculous anyway…
Balrog- Afro Legends, I only played him in Vanilla on GGPO but he rocked my asshole.
DeeJay- Gambit808, you need work on some things like getting reversal baited but your combos are GOOD.
Sagat- the only dude to beat me with sagat so far I forget his name.
I don’t have enough games with players that have beaten me. Probably a time zone issue.
