Doesn’t matter if you’re going to EVO or beat anybody to any number, Artayes is still unquestionably the best Necro player ever and nobody can top him. I mean he’s so good that he doesn’t need to come to EVO or anywhere to prove himself, online is his proven battleground and proved himself he has as the bess.

I can only guess that post stun juggle combos aren’t too explored around here
Could be something someone might want to explore some more besides combo video makers and really students of the game who know these things already. Otherwise its just fun to watch. Not indicative of the Necro players full skills, just to round out the set of 3 when player below only put up his 1.
I think I called him out on it the most, apologized for that, then now how much later he puts up the exact video I was talking about! HK hurricane raw from his corner. Gdam. but he’s cool online messaging. Another Ryu around always good to have.
& because a Ryu who he himself says “Everybody hates me online” blew up this Necro on laggiest stage ever, cross country connection, maybe a month ago. Only video evidence of EatableTech Necro, or any character, a blowup heh.

…yeah, ryan’s Necro is the scariest I’ve ever played. I wouldn’t question that he’s the best.
noob here, much earlier, years earlier in fact someone mentioned Hugo being an easy matchup for Necro and I’m lost because Hugo blows me up regularly. I’m an online warrior bummin it on 3soe but every time i face a grappler hugo/alex i’m at a loss of what to do
their pokes seem too good, and i like getting close which seems counter-intuitive.
I think one of my main problems is i’m bad a hit-confirming into super(from what i understand this is a 3s must know how to do kind of thing). I can land st.MP into super from 2p consistently but everything else is meh. Like B.st.MP (whats the notation for back mid-punch?) into super i can do in training but never in real match.
Are their any tips of what pokes to throw out, against either grappler? or what should I be going for? I’ve been grinding the match-up when I can find it but It feels like i’m running into a wall repeatedly instead of finding a way around it

The name doesn’t mean anything, there’s learning Necro in there.
Don’t worry about 456, notation, like they do with BlazBlue: “5A” is the weirdest thing.

Work the zoning game and do not worry that you’re not playing like others can play vs the grapplers with building off every poke to cancel special, etc. Your pokes should kick their ass. What’s Hugo going to do outside of cr MK range, that you won’t be able to see and react punish? Take care of anti air, which gets you the necessary knockdowns and manage as best you can spacing / footsies.
yeah my bad, right after i posted this i noticed a matchup thread below it -_- my bad lol. (new to forums too).
I feel you on staying out of range but when i try to play footsies or poke away i make one or two mistakes and all of sudden half my life is gone.
and the suckers that play Hugo online are usually beast lol. I just wanted a few tips on how to put up a fight. I’ll check out that suggested thread too thanks
As crazy as it sounds, jump back HP is part of Necro footsies. his jumps are generally something else nobody else has, up there forever, can decide very late if he even needs to press an attack button up there.
Grapplers in a nutshell, yup. Online ones can auto pilot so stay out of their way and ranges! Poke them backwards or stop their progress.
