Honestly, ECCXI was imo the greatest marvel tourney of all time.

Loser’s final between Yipes and Jwong was Godly with Jwong Comeback.

and Grand Finals was insane with Sanford and Jwong displaying all the different forms of marvel at their highest level. I wish i had been there in person.

I could use some learning on the MvC2 tourney scene back when it first started or anytime before 2006. I only recognize names like Viscant, Sanford, Yipes, Clockwork, Combofiend, JWong, Preppy, MegamanDS, VDO, VegitaX, Chunksta, MikeZ, etc, etc.

I would like to learn about some of the other players as much as possible as well. Behaviors, habits, traits, playstyles, character mains, tourney attendances, etc, etc.

Some of my favorite matches actually involve DSP lol

The first MM was like DSP vs. Infinite where DSP came back from a huge deficit to take it.

Next one was DSP vs. Mixup where he just flat out got raped 10-0.

Mariodood find the manual online. It’s not as crazy as it looks. You pick 3 fighters before the match starts, and the opponent has to beat all three before win. When one goes down, the next comes in. Instead of l,m,h punch/kicks, you only have light and heavy, and the last is assist. If you press one assist button, your second fighter comes in and does some fancy attack. If you press both assists, all three combine into a super ultra move that does ridiculous amounts of hits. If you’re really good, you can input each character super motion before they enter the screen for even more combo damage.
You need to build up bars to use the assists, aswell as the regular super moves of the characters. Plus there’s tons of air combos aswell as ground combos. It’s a crazy game and I can’t wait to get it on X360.

Yeah I know how it WORKS…i just dont know what the fuck is going on in the actual matches. The characters move too fast to see and all the moves are basically blurs.

Ah…either wait until it comes out, or get a dreamcast emulator for your PC, find the MvsC2 cd image somewhere, and try it yourself then.
All the street fighters have their usual moves and supers at least. But they’re quite low on the tier rankings.
