BEST Mix up heavy Characters in FG history

In some builds of the first Darkstalkers game Rikuo has this really stupid thing where both his crouching hard kick and crouching hard punch are sweeps, and the former is a low while the latter is an overhead, which leads to some ridiculous guessing games as to which way to block. Good example here:

I’ll be the devil’s advocate and say SF4 Seth.

no one is paying attention lol. the thread should have been closed after millia. I think her ggx version is most potent then her other games but if I’m wrong I’d like to hear why. I only played ggx and ggxxac. seemed like her oki game was stronger in ggx because she didnt need frc to get advantage.

Welcome to FGD nobody reads past the first sentence.

i dont know if you realize this, but an instant overhead creates a 50/50 mixup. one that is covered by blockstun due to curse. it is rare for characters in bb to be able to do unreactable 50-50 high/low mixups. Perhaps you have henceforth unknown tech for half the cast with which they can do this. I doubt it.

“It is used blatantly in predictable blockstring”? What the fuck does this even mean? A 50/50 high/low is what it is, even if you or your friends do high/low the same order every time.

you listed three characters. BB had 18 characters. 3 characters do not represent the average. Carl has an instant overhead? J.2c doesn’t hit high. What is tao’s instant overhead? I assume you’re not talking about fuzzy guard instant overheads, since those require much more setup and often meter.

then again i am talking to someone who judges arcana heart 3’s gameplay based on single player, so i probably shouldnt expect much

Cool your jets Maverick, That post was just snide and unnecessary, Hope I didn’t hit a sore spot somewhere along the line.

I eagerly await your reply which will no doubt provide top quality justification for being an ass. No seriously, Im here waiting.

Sometimes saying stupid things on the internet gets you insulted.

@bbqsauce: Yep she moved on from cool stupid mixups to ToD :frowning:

Magneto (any version)

He was just stating the obvious…

CvS2 N Gouki.
Insane character, very technical (and fun!)
N Iori was crazy too…

But the one that takes the cup for me is… EX3 Vulcano. Seriously, this guy is insane…
Kick Momentary makes you teleport behind or in front of opponent, all of this, while the opponent is blocking. Punch momentary is an overhead, all of this combined with his rekkas (that can be cancelled into his momentarys, mind you), great low jump, excellent speed, crazy combo abilities, strong Oki, and EX3 tag system, makes a hell of hurt…

Damn Right,

Buktooth OCV’ing Combofiend this match with N Iori. Good Set too BTW. Very good matches between the two.

CVS2 - Combofiend Vs. Bucktooth (Match 7 of 9)

mvc2 magneto is THE best rush down character for any competitive fighting game. He kind of makes kof\cvs2 look like a joke rush down wise doesn’t he?

Scarlet Weather Rhapsody - Alice the doll oki is to much one she starts controlling the screen

GG Eddie via UNBLOCKABLES
GG Millia via godlike okizeme mixup game
GG Venom, his high/low not so great. But his pressure… DAT pressure. U can block all his mixup and find youself in corner surrounded by his balls like in prison (HEVEN prison, lol), where he can do any number of high/low/throw

Giving no credit to your own main VS character?

AH3 Elsa has some pretty god-like mixup that you really only have to use if your not playing fire (I know fire but think she’s much more fun to play without it).

GG eddie really is just too much mixup, because his mixup isn’t just mixup it’s all frameadvantage and just leads to more mixup as long as little eddie is out. Most mixup characters if you guess right you at most have to make one more guess to get out, eddie just keeps going so you need to guess right like 5x to get out.
High/Low/Crossup alright I got that but add command throw to the mix? fuck you eddie fuck you …
