maybe you should also start looking at craigslist the week before you get here to Vegas there is a cell phone section people are always selling a phone they picked up like the month before just make sure its AT&T or t-mobile
Unless you already have a mini or 3G SIM, the SIM card you currently have is very unlikely to work in newer phones. Sometimes you can get free SIM card upgrades from your network provider, but be careful…
I have a mini-sim, and If i buy a cel-phone that only accepts micro-sim, I can cut the mini-sim and make it work

last time I checked they don’t have draw something on windows phone I would stick to android. Android is the superior platform right now

Interesting thing about phones, there’s just so much bullshit…
The prices are all over the place, half the game is sitting in a store talking to some guy for an hour trying to get him to go lower but BEFORE YOU EVEN GET THERE you need to know which service you got and if by some promotion you might get a discount on the phone or if you could talk with the service rep and say you found something better on another company they’ll offer something better or match it.
In short? What a fucking hassle.
For those talking about unlocking, I think most GSM phones sold in the USA are only “locked” so that you can only use that specific USA GSM carrier, outside of the USA that locking won’t matter. Knowing a random shady Chinese phone unlocker person certainly helps though.
I think your best bet is an iPhone3GS! It can be had for under $200 new if you look hard enough. Its not ad fast ad thr iphone4 or 4s, but It’s running the same operating system. I’ll also be in Vegas during the EVO weekend, so if you like I can unlock it for you, no charge.

If Hardc0re isn’t going to get a data plan at all, that won’t matter. But it’s silly to get a cell phone and constantly hunt for wifi to use it to its potential.
