The most damaging non lv2 to lv1 cancels are:

  1. Kim: corner infinite (semi-practical)
  2. Kyo: (near corner) Level 2 flame super, roundhouse up kicks, f+fierce, whiff rekkas to OTG round pound. 7418 damage (practical)
  3. Ryo: (in corner) Level 2 fireball super, juggle backhand thingie, jump cancel, late roundhouse, land and fierce uppercut. 7108 damage (impractical)
  4. Kyo: (near corner) Level 2 punch super, cancel at 9th hit to roundhouse up kicks, f+fierce, rekkas to ground pound. 7096 damage (practical)
  5. Rugal: Level 2 wall grab, cancel to regular wall grab. 6900 damage (stupidly practical).
  6. Morrigan: (near corner) Level 2 uppercut super, land, whiff grab, fierce uppercut. 5908 damage (practical)

The rest pretty much all average out at 5600, with a few shitty ones doing around 5000.

And Twitch, watch out for Iori’s command grab. That shit will be a free lvl 2 cancel for me.

Same old garbage but with lots of choices. After the command grab, either do c.mk, or c. fp, or s. st xx f. st. Then lvl 2 maiden masher. If the masher isn’t enough to kill him, cancel into lvl 1 masher, or fierce uppercut. Fierce uppercut is preferred, good damage and you finish the round with a little less than 1.5 levels. As soon as you’re back to lvl 2, same garbage, so the repeatability of the combo is always a factor.
And you can always cancel the maiden masher early, into ‘wine cup’ super, then cross-up, s. st xx f. st xx rekkas and go for the dizzy. Or instead of the cross-up, jump in with fierce, standing fierce xx rekkas.

Basically, don’t get command grabbed by Iori or Todo when they have a full meter. Or any meter for that matter. Don’t forget, roll groove Todo’s can RC that shit for extra cheapness. I hate seeing Todo grab me out of a dp with ryu. Utter bullshit.

man the scarriest and most damaging lvl 2 cancel ive ever seen was a chun li one… it was like the kick special into some air combos into a crossover trip into the lvl 1 fireball… or something like that… cant remember to well

Umm, i belive practical wise, the best Level2 Cancel belongs to Todo. Are you guys forgetting the Taunt / Command Grab on the 5th/6th hit to reset juggle potential thing?

Suddenly it becomes a gazillion hits and you get a Level 2 that acts as a Level 3.

It still only does 5000. It’s good of course, especially for a projectile super, but it’s not one of the most damaging. It also doesn’t matter when you cancel into a whiff grab either. Level 2 cancels give unlimited juggle potential until you go back to a neutral state. Example? Kim’s infinite.

Actually it matters.

It’s because of the Distancing that you have to cancel at the 5th or 6th hit (which i can’t remember)

If you go and try, cancelling before that causes the opponent to bounce less off the super since it doesn’t go full screen. Cancelling after that is…umm I can’t remember. Because I’ve expermimented with this about 2 years ago, i’d know.
