Great tourneys, run pretty well and saw some new faces (for me, at least). This was my chance to take a 3S tourney man. =( I fucked up.

Hmmm…I just might show up for this one. It’s been since 2003 the last time I competed in fighters. I did retire in 2005 to shoot competitive pool for 5 years and took 5th in State in 2010 and 10th in state in 2011. It’s true what they say thoughh, you can’t keep a god fighter down. UMvC3 is the game (after a HUGE adjustment to the new style) and owning for free is the game!!! I don’t know what team I’m gonna run in that game but in MvC3 I run Wolvie/Sentinel/Dormammu. I do really well on-line, so let’s see how good I can do face 2 face!!
Also, I see it’s all X-Box 360. I don’t have a compatible stick for that machine. What if I bring my PS3 to use, considering that 360 USB sticks will work on a PS3, unlike my MAS for a 360. I do have a PS3 to 360 adaptor, but unless somebody can bring a “Wired” 360 controller, it won’t work because it needs to have the wired hooked UP TO THE ADAPTOR. lame!
There’s one PS3 and we have a few (or…or at least one) dual modded sticks if you still want to bring your setup down. 360 sticks won’t work for PS3…I don’t know why you would think they would. You should just bring your stick, we have plenty of sticks and a PS3 already. I don’t play MvC3 but a new face is always welcome. Come out to one of our casual days if you want to check out the competition. Like tomorrow, at 6pm.

We are having our next Best Bout Beatdown tournament this Saturday Nov. 5th. This will be the last chance to get tourney practice in before NWM! Also, it will be Free Play for those who are not part of the tournament. Bring your peeps who might want to get into the game, should be good times. Here is the schedule;

Yup, a couple o’ things as well, we are going to be chatting about teams/Portland rep and general details for NWM tomorrow as well. This is also the last event of season 2 (Tuesday’s the last ranbat) before all the new titles come out and we kick into the next season. Quick update, due to request from a few different parties we are moving Beatdown 7 to the last Saturday of the month (12/3). It’s still Free Play Day today, peeps still in the house and getting some schooling done for NWM. Come on down, or see you back here Saturday the 26th. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be out as well, should be hype!
