I hope so and fully intend to, but we’ll see how I manage work and life

If it was purely about motivation only, then the best chances would be after FS comes out and also (even sooner) after XIII comes out. But again, we’ll see how well I do at managing work and life.
My friend Cyd Vicious would like to play in the Mortal Kombat tournament (and he plays on PS3 so that works out too). Want to double check and make sure that’s still on?
So is the MK tournament happening this Saturday? It needs to happen. Why is it not 100% sure it’s gonna happen? Not enough interest in the game or what?

Cool I let my friend know and I told him that at least for Portland MK, it would be best if the MK players could all make it to this tournament to help it move towards establishing a stronger group.

Don’t ban freddy if its kole and I playing…if he shows up that is. We know he’s skared of my ground klaws
When is the tournament?
My friend says he will be able to go to the tournament. Though it’s probably best if we can set a specific sign-in time for that tourney
I haven’t been to the tournaments at Best Bout so I’m not sure what kind of schedule is usually run, but if I can give him a sign-in time, that’ll probably at least give him additional wedge room with the family hehe. He didn’t demand that btw, I just thought to ask.

4PM: Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition tournament begins

Definitely PS3 (I’m putting in the vote for my friend since he’s a PS3 guy).
And while he does play with the MK Happ-style stick… I think he’s most comfortable on a pad. And umm… 360 pad would so not be cool.

Damn sorry I missed another one. Saw the aftermath of it, just got back into town and swung by. Results? I was in transit for pretty much the entirety of the event.
Even though I didn’t attend, I just wanted to give a shoutout and a thanks to all of the Best Bout Crew (including the livestream staff) for doing what you guys are doing and putting the events out there!
I enjoyed the matches I was able to watch, really enjoyed the chatting and shoutouts with old friends and colleagues, and I’m also very glad that you guys kept MK9 going and Cyd Vicious was able to participate. I am guessing the event made Cyd Vicious hungry for more as he got 2nd, so I will continue to point him in this direction.
Wish I could have been there… but because you guys had the livestream and chat, I had a good consolation as I was able to work, watch, and chat.

P.S. I know fatbear is a really busy guy. But I wanted to point out that I really like his commentary when he is commentating matches. He has always been able to verbally process what’s going on as they are happening and what would have been more ideal answers most of the time as well as pointing out special moments in a match.
Fatbear, if you do enjoy doing this more (and want to keep working on it) and you happen to have some time to do so–have you considered setting up an eLive account? It would reduce the setup and you could basically pick out some matches (from anywhere on youtube etc…) each week and comment on them–your thoughts, what you think you’d like to see more in your local scene as far as what the person in the vid did, and general breakdown of important points.
Just a thought, and of course there are others who could do this too. But I personally thought it would be really cool to see fatbear’s weekly segment hehe.
