I find it rather funny that some don’t like the trailer because of the CGI. I say if the action and story progression are as close to the manga as possible, then it’s all fine and dandy.
Oh and a new chapter’s getting released in Japan on the 27th.
trailer looks great. all the people complaining about the animation… and then saying stuff like the original series looks superior? The original char designs do look a little better from what I’ve seen but the original series was barely even animated. this moves much nicer

Certainly the first time I’ve heard about this, too.
Well, I was on the fence with regards to Itsuno’s (DMC3,4 Director) brainchild game, Dragon’s Dogma. But hopefully between this and Itsuno’s demonstration of the game in a few days, I’ll have all I need in order to make me a believer of the game.
Yeah picking up Dragon’s Dogma because I’m curious as to how Kobayashi and Itsuno tackle the genre. That and from the looks of things it’s a game that Capcom of Japan is actually making because nowadays they outsource everything thst isn’t called Sengoku Basara or Monster Hunter.
I fear that no online co-op is going to doom the game’s chances of success in the west though.
I’m really hoping we get the Berserk weapons and armor but not holding my breath. I hope we at least get a nice trade off like stuff from Game of Thrones, or hell Breath of Fire stuff but still not holding my breath.

Most reviews of the first movie is that the only low point is the CGI/animation not being good, but everything else is OK. Fine by me, so long as the fights are good.
I guess my main thing, at least as of now, there hasn’t been enough to convince me that I must have Dragon’s Dogma. Nothing’s been hooking me as of yet. Which is a bit odd for me to say, considering that the moment I saw games like DMC3 and Sengoku BASARA 2 for the first time, I KNEW that I had to buy/import those games ASAP. :lol:
So yeah, Itsuno. All on you to change that trend, and showcase why you deserved to make this game that you “always wanted to make”.
But I will say this though. If we don’t stand to get that Berserk DLC, that would be a tragedy. It’s not like we don’t know what Berserk is over here. Plus, if Itsuno and Koba were at all interested in tackling a Berserk game someday, we might as well start laying the groundwork for such things sooner, rather than later…
It’s up to 326 as of now. 327 supposedly came out already, but is not yet translated or scanned, but not 100% sure if its out yet.

He lost all his senses and is now blind. Hopefully they reach Elfhelm soon and he can heal Casca and get his senses back from constantly using the Berserker Armor.
For those who care, the Dragon’s Dogma stream with Itsuno is scheduled to start in a few minutes of this posting.
But what really interests me, and very relevant to this topic? THE BERSERK DLC WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE WEST.

Well, to be fair, the FAQ just said the Berserk stuff is “on disc”. They didn’t say anything about whether you can unlock it manually or that you have to pay up, first! :lol:

I gave it a 10/10, super fuckin awesome (sure im biased so you can maybe minus 2 or 3 points, and its still 7/10 lol)
Too bad the next part will be shown in June and I wont be able to see it.

That Griffith suit is really bad ass. I still hate Griffith though.
