Man after reading volumes 15 and 16 again I’m hoping some parent/fundie group won’t find Berserk in book stores and condemn it and point how they are ruining america’s children because “Comics are geared towards children,” argument. The violence alone is bad enough, but the underage-psuedo-lesbianeroticism between Jill and Rosine is the type of shit that would get people thrown in the joint.
Miura never specifically said anything regarding volumes.
Miura made a comment (which is widely incorrectly quoted as “BERSERK has just begun” after the Berserker Armor) saying that all of the pieces and characters of the story are now together, and he can forsee how the story will progress now.
Berserk resumes on the 22nd! Miura apologized for the wait, and the Japanese episodes will start again at Wyndham Castle.
So in the meantime, I’m hearing good things about this manga Blaster Knuckle, it’s done by a high school friend of Miura’s, who was also one of the people the Hawk’s were based off. There’s also several berserk “nods” in the series, and the main character is basically Guts but black 
.

I knew this was gonna come up sooner or later. Just to be clear.
Scanlations on this forum are okay so long as the manga is not already available in English. This is a gray area but for the most part it is okay by the law.
If any of the manga is available in English, like in Japan they are up to volume 1,000 and we are up to volume 1, scanlations are then illegal and if companies want to they can go after people.
When manga gets translated into English, sites are ‘supposed’ to take scanlations down according to the law. After that, companies can seek legal action and demand these things get taken down.
LOL you really are better off, at the very least not spreading scanlations of manga that’s already available in English on the net. The less you spread these things on internet forums the less chances you have of it eventually being spotted by the right people and having them taken down. PMs are your friends.
Though yeah since Blaster Knuckle isn’t available in English, so far it’s okay.

Anime Fan Subs are kind of the same exact deal if you are curious. It’s okay so long as it is not available in English. Once it comes out in English sites are supposed to take them down and their distribution is supposed to cease. LOL I heard one horror story of an American company picking up the license of an anime, and then using the same exact fan subs for the subtitles! It’s within their rights to do so actually. So translators beware. :looney:
Umm, I’m aware of all that Sano. I’m not stupid enough to post scans of something licensed <_<, but if they’re offending you I will take them down no questions asked.
Oh hey not saying you are, just don’t want to run in to potential confusion with other members down the line with regards to scanlations.

Doesn’t Dark Horse post a tag on all their Berserk covers that states “+17 & Up”? Fuck those groups who complain about this shit. Most bookstores don’t even sell the manga anymore so I have to Ebay/Amazon my issues.
When you say “episodes” what exactly do you mean? In the manga? When I hear “episodes” I automatically think of anime.

Knight of Skeleton:rolleyes: Sorry, just being picky. But Knight of Skeleton is the actual name, it’s been shortened to Skull Knight though by fans, and consequently done so in the Dark Horse volumes.
Berserk Fans tend to spell the names how the anime pronounced them(in which case SK didn’t appear in the anime, so the point’s moot for him) That’s why you run into some fans thinking the names are Gattsu/Zoddo/Grifisu/Cyaska etc. as that’s how the japanese say those names.
Once again, keep places where you can view Berserk for free outside of this forum. Even if it’s Raws, keep it out of here. It’s licensed by Dark Horse, so it’s illegal. I’m just gonna delete those posts like I just did. Happens again, I’ll start handing out infractions or worse. Talk about them all you want, do not provide ways for people to view it here. Lots of manga I read but Berserk, Naruto and whatever Shonen Jump is running are the only things I’m up to date in, with regards to what’s available in English of course. I also finished Death Note and am currently reading the “How To Read” book along with the LA novel. Oh and I’m up to date on DC’s re-release of Gon books, unflopped hooray! Everything else that I’m far behind in reading -
