what is “UI” shitiness?

i didn’t get around to booking the rooms today cuz mortal kumbat came in the mail. i’ll do it tomorrow morning haha.

i think training mode is kinda gross. the blood never goes away, so after about 10 combos, your dummy is just a giant glob of blood.

i’m enjoying the game overall, but story mode is nowhere near as entertaining as i was led to believe by all the glowing reviews. it’s like a really bad action movie, but not campy enough to be funny even ironically. after 16 years, boon and/or his writers still seem to have all the creative talent of a bunch of high school underachievers.

and i wouldn’t care about the plot anyway since it’s a fighting game – i’m just reacting to all the reviews that say that all fighting games should follow mk’s example for story mode.

First time a tick latched itself on to me was in the scouts. The guy in charge of the trip said he was going to burn it out with a lighter, and that scared me more than the damn tick. So I just pulled it out. Isn’t being a dumb kid the best?

at the very least, it’s a story mode. any other fighting game except guilty gear, there is no story mode or some bastard shit that’s not worth your time (cough tekken 6 cough).

even arcade mode for mk9 is much more enjoyable than most other arcade modes cause it actually has a decent ending sequence for all characters.

however, shao kahn is a god damn bitch.

on a side note, having something with hella legs stuck inside of your body is a sick ass thought, but it feels great physically.

again netherrealm shows they are more interested in cashing in on a fad than actually making a sustainable fighting game.

voice acting in 4 different languages for 28+ characters and you can’t make a training mode worth a damn.
