Actually, I was looking into stuff and it really would work better if we did this on Saturday; for one thing, EU stays open longer and it helps that I don’t need to be anywhere on Sunday…
But, for the most part, tomorrow I’m going for sure… but in subsequent weeks, Saturday would work a lot better, to be honest…
Oh shit, the meet was actually a success (and by success, I mean that I played some random stranger [who knew how to play] who just happened to be walking around the shop that day, which defied the expectation of me not playing anyone).
Think you can make it on Saturday instead of Sunday?
The place really works.
And real life Street Fighter is awesome: if I sit behind someone, I can actually see people buffering their moves in advanced.
I’d totally be down to play at Eudemonia this Sunday. I’d probably stop in around 7ish since I’d be coming from something, but I really want to start leveling up my game and I’m tired of this Xbox Live bs.
Yeah, I know it’s a sudden change, but what’s nice about that date is that people can stay up to like 1am in the morning (though, BART stops by then, so that could conceivably be a problem)…
But, yes, I will SURELY show up this coming Saturday from 6PM-10PM; look for the asshole with the TE stick (it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb as the X-Box area is in front of the shop)…
That said, I’m not quite sure this will level up people’s games, but it will be fun, hopefully.
That said, if Sunday is really the only day that works for you, maybe you can setup a separate Sunday meet with Kontradiction?
Having SUPER twice a week would be cool…
(but I’d seriously only be able to go on Saturday…)
EDIT:
That said, if you are unfamiliar with EU’s policies and pricing and whatever, feel free to check the EU thread in the North Pacific forum…
Yeah, I should update the opening post, but I’ll get to it later as I am currently too lazy to do so.
It’s because Ryu’s uppercut is 2-hits now. I think now the first hit has all of the invincibility and the second hit has juggle potential. The thing is most anti-air timing results in his second hit animation going up against the air attack, in which case Ryu has no priority/invincibility. But at least this lets you do shit like DP, FADC, DP.
